I don't know if we've got anyone from Sydney here. I've seen people from Melbourne, Perth, and I'm from Adelaide, but I don't remember seeing anyone from Sydney posting in this forum (not that they've said anyway, yell at me if I'm wrong).

Still, they couldn't have timed it any better. The 28th is the day I go back to Uni, and I expect the library there will have a copy of the Daily Telegraph, so I should be able to get a scan of it.

Well I'm not in Toronto either, but the paper is one of those large nationally available type things that you can pick up in any province. Lotsa business people read it daily regardless of province.

Is the Aussie one anything like that? If so my guess is they wanted to cover as much area with as little paper as possible.

As far as I know, the Daily Telegraph is one of the larger Sydney papers, but you can get it in the other states if you know where to look. The Australian would have been a better choice for covering more area, but I don't know whether it has a classifieds section.

Edit - The Australian is listed on http://classifieds.news.com.au/ (a site that lists classifieds in all major Aussie newspapers, could come in handy), but I can't get any results for it, so I'm guessing it doesn't have them but the provision is on the site in case they do one day.

As long as we can get hold of every paper, that'll be okay..

One thing though relating back to the Sydney/Toranto wishlist theory... could this mean some gamemaster can report back anything we write and change the game accordingly..? I wouldn't say they would but after the Sydney/Toranto thing... who knows...

I think its entirely possible that the things we write could influence the game. If the creators are looking for feedback from the players and the community its quite likely that they look to these forums. You never know maybe some of the spec ideas we have will influence the plot? Rolling Eyes

I'll also be able to get the Sydney newspaper. I have a cousin over there who will be able to grab it, and I do know where I can get a copy in my state.

At the end of ILoveBees the PMs said that they had been monitoring the forums here. I imagine that the PC PMs will be doing the same. Whether we end up influencing the plot depends on how much leeway that built into it's structure I guess. Big Brother is Watching. Wink

Puppetmaster.

Or Private Message.

Or Prime Minister.

Or Poo Merchant.

But most of the time, puppetmaster. The guys who run the game.
