speedhuntingclub.com ok wtf?! i thought this was a fan site, but i can't explain this latest update. someone help me out.
a hidden text link at the bottom of the front page points to this:
http://www.speedhuntingclub.com/dawn.html
the number at the bottom is ira glassman's voicemail passcode. the pic is named "dawn.jpg." there is hidden text to the left and the right of the pic: "go" and "org" respectively.

/go.4724.org/ comes to mind -- but of course there is no such web address. We thought the artwork might be by Rosalind Kaplan -- found some VERY similar paintings, some even having the word "dawn" in their titles, but no exact match. (props to Leftbrained for tracking this down.) I'm sensing the beginning of a trail here, but still assuming it is a fan site.

As shown on another comment on this site, the number at the bottom of the picture is Ira Glassman's phone number code. It spells IRAG on a phone.
The actual phone number was shown in the 4th episode, and Jim tells the new temp Ira's extension.

Hey, it's a fan site, but it's still better than skatepush was.

New video clips There's two new video clips at the speedhunting site - one of Grace examining the plane and one of Jim and his new sculpture. There in a flash format so you can zoom in and puase and forward them slowly if you want.

Things that I've tried:
I did a ROT on the first line and got nothing. http://rot.flywheel.org
there are several 4 letter words like "code" "myth" and "clue", which tend to be associated with puzzles, making the likelyhood of a cryptogram or ROT unlikely, plus other 4 letter words, and "almost words" like "mayo", "cane", "secrt"
Every row is 17 letters, except one.
WILD SPEC: maybe the columns have to be rotated to different ways to get a 4 line message, with the words separated by X's.

wild spec: maybe the x's seperate sentences. Maybe it is a direct substitution code but not rot. the clue to start may be the last three letters after the x are jim prufrocks initials. when I get time I will try this; but I don't have a table on the average letter frequency. Does anyone have a list of the 10 most common letters?

The number frequencies look normal (except for the x's) so I don't think it is a substitution cipher at all. More likely a transposition of some sort as sapagoo has suggested. Perhaps the title of the page "Prelude" will give us some clue.

I don't see anything partial about that.
It looks like the whole solution to me.
