About /templates/templates2/ and /templates/template2/...

templates2 is simply a typo in the code. Checking http://www.perlplexcity.com/templates/template2/background.jpg is a green square, used for tiling. Might as well steg this to be sure.

And the commented numbers could be IRC numbers, to talk to this airmover.

Oh, how I laughed. Go look at the e thread XD

Ok, ok... ha ha, I get it. But for the purposes of the game, I'm still going to stand by what I said. I don't think "airmover" calculated these mubers out and put them in the source. Mostly because all the other "puzzles" on the site are too easy and are obviously meant to be cracked by newbies to point them to the correct site.

Not that it probably matters to the game at all, but I'm just saying... Maybe I should have said: "I don't think the two numbers are MEANT to be part of e." Smile

Perhaps they've used an obvious number to code the images, as this really isn't much to write home about.

POSTCARD CODE

I dunno, just deffo not in game imho, would be nice to know if anything, what our colleague has hidden on their site.

Isn't the POSTCARD CODE, the string of numbers on the Post Card under the stamp, still unsolved?

I think newlife's post got a good start on it... seems too 'there' to be a bad lead...

Base 10 conversion, in pairs of numbers:
(35, 19, 84, 79, 77), (36, 24, 53, 43, 52)

# TOM       $ 5+4

It's just figuring out what 35,19 and 36,24 mean... this is probably like a signature for someone who created the site, but it's a nice puzzle none the less...

something tells me that 19 and 24 are numbers that have a different purpose than ascii values (which give TOM and 5+4, and where # and $ may or may not be intended as ascii, IMO)...

so what could 35,19 and 36,24 represent for these two strings? or why would 19 and 24 be inserted before the ascii TOM and 5+4?
Confused
