 		Great job everybody with the solve! Too bad I missed this.
[damn field job on sunday]

I'll be up for the chat if my head doesn't explode and/or meltdown until 3AM brazilian time.
Anyway, am I missing something or there has been no research about the new phrase?
"Friends are God's way of taking care of us", according to Google, is sometimes accredited as "anonymous", and sometimes accredited to the Stone Temple Pilots. May be related, may be not. We'll know more after 10PM Pacific time, hopefully.

Honestly, I can't say if it's of our concern. But if it's not, well it's weirdly coincidental: the fresh date of the entry (Feb 10), the Christian placement, the fact that it's a woman writing, the general tone of the text... and there is a Biblical quote at the end.

Ok, back after the server manteinance.
A quick update on what happened last night:

at the designated time (10PM Pacific time) the /chaton page updated. The new page showed a rubber duck, clickable, linking to the new page:

Chatting in irc, we tried to figure out a solve for hours, but nothing came out.
Nonetheless, many ideas have been put on the table and we can work on them.
For those who missed the 10PM appointment and the following chat, here's the log of what happened. Sincew it's a bit long, I highlited the parts I think are more relevant.

 		Yes, pavillion is probably the most appropriate name. But google image search is still refusing to return anything useful, and maybe the photo isn't even taken from the 'net...

 		Fear. The. Duck.

I was in for a bit of a surprise when I booted up ATWOG this morning. I checked other nicknames-- nothing.

I'm not convinced its a puzzle, it looks more like a reward, but I still tried /anywhere, /tree, /ducky, anything I could think of.

I checked /duckie on whim yesterday, and nothing was there. This page is new.
As far as it goes, I'm fairly certain she couldn't just wait for someone to do something related to ducks do give that nickname... I think the name and the puzzle were done on the fly.

Anyway, cheers everyone. If you see Syn before I do... tell her I said thanks

 		started out playing the sable & shuck arg which has mysteriously dried up recently, so in searching for something else to do while it restarts (or comes to an official end) i found this intriguing arg!

have to say that if sable & shuck doesn't start up again i shall be very disappointed i didn't find this arg first, it seems as though it won't let me down.........

if i think of anything useful (not particularly likely, i've trawled through all the posts on this arg and am still none the wiser!) i'll let you know.

 		I have to disagree with you a little on the spec Sarah, this whole trail is designed by Eccliastia to test us to see if we are worthy of learning the truth about Synagoga.
From Ecc's first e-mail to ace:

This trail is the test and we have been gradually learning more about her and Synagoga as it goes. (However Synagoga has popped up a few times through the trail.) So I think it has to be a puzzle since we haven't learned anything definitive.

Haha. I'm so sorry.

Crowfoot, I believe that coding is just the way that they made the "duck" part of the timeiseverything.jpg image clickable. I've never used that code, but I think the coordinates just outline the link area.

I've tried all sorts of non-working stuff, but I think there may be something to the "time is everything" bit. I mean, why is it so important that the image was updated at that specific time? It's not like it flashed there and then went away - it's still there, who cares when it went up?

you'll see on the sides of the image it says that the devil is in the little details backwards, this led the group left over from above chat to check the source code to find that there was not one JPEG file but 2. when you go to www.againstthewillofgod.com/reel/con2.jpg you see in the corner the previously hidden image 1 Corinthians 17:1. Oddly enough there is no Corinthians 17:1 because the last chapter is 1 Corinthians 16
