Since I don't know any of these places, I trust the Members of the ... thingy! Oh and I guess you can put my name as confirmed. Unless something really bad happens! Worse than a thousand blue glowies!

Give me a clue at least! Is it coming via UPS, Fedex or DHL?

When you get a chance, would you all mind checking the top post to make sure that the list of names is complete and the categories are correct? I updated it, but I feel like I'm missing something.

USPS. So there's absolutely no clue when they're getting there. And I was too cheap to pay for the tracking option. But I did get delivery confirmation and insurance! Wink

Well, it is correct, as far as everything I've told you so far. But I'm about to make a change to it. Go ahead and slide me up to the definitely coming list. Cool

Me!

Count me in for something, maybe not all things, but something.

Hey everyone,
I was just looking at the hotel where the anime convetion is being held. For normal reservations it says the hotel is sold out. Perhaps there are more rooms available for those attending the convention but I am not sure I'll be attending that so I didn't want to try to use up one the convention's block of rooms. I will however look for hotels near that address since it seems to be a gathering place for some of the bee keepers.

AgentMunroe Comes to Chicago

So I'm interested in going to the Chicago Hivemeet. I dunno, I haven't been involved in the community much since it ended so I feel like a bit of an outsider... but what the hell. Smile

First off , I'm looking for any place cheap to crash. All I really need is a small section of floor to place my sleeping bag and I'll be fine, although an actual bed wouldn't be objectionable Smile I'm more than willing to chip in for hotel costs, if anybody's looking to split the cost of their room.

Still trying to figure out the best way to get from Rochester to Chicago. Plane fare is about $230 round trip... which is $20 less then I payed for my trip to San Francisco in January. Which connected through O'Hare. And the flights I'm looking at now fly from Rochester to Dulles, then to Chicago... which is cheaper by about $100 then flying directly to O'Hare. I have absolutely no idea what these airlines are thinking. Evil or Very Mad (Any tips on grabbing a good fare here?)

Anyway, hopefully I get get my travel kinks worked out, and see you all there. Smile

Don't forget me, for I will be at the convention, and am certainly down with tagging along with the other guys going to it as well. It'll be much nicer then, well, hanging round the con.

Don't feel like an outsider!

We remember you! You sang Happy Birthday to the SP, right?

I'm not probably able to be much help on the plane fare front but hopefully someone here can help with some advice.

Hey Rufo! I used to live in Rochester so I feel your airfare pain. Flying out of Buffalo (or even Toronto, which would be easier if the ferry still existed...) is often much cheaper.

Also I don't know if JetBlue flies to Chicago, but if they do they're the one discount airline out of Rochester.

if anyone is flying out of either philadelphia or BWI, maybe we can share a hotel and split a package deal?
