[UPDATE] Adverts in newspapers

I'm just starting a new thread to collate the stuff that we find in the newspapers and to stop the video one getting totally unwieldy. The dates we have been given so far are:

THE FULL PRESS RELEASE CAN BE SEEN IN THE SENTINEL

A second ad appeared in the New York Sun which looks to be an OOG parody or spoof of the original USA Today advert involving Trout and can be seen in the image above.

forms of security without tripping warning alarms. Academy security
personnel discovered the theft at 2am when security guard

Police as yet have no suspects and are still questioning ball
attendees. Perplex City Council leader Camryn Scott confirmed
today that a police task force will work with Academy experts
to find the culprits. She said, "The murderers of Fran Mendling
will pay for their crimes.
Those who perpetrated this heinous act

in its own right. We are committed to ensuring its safe return." He was not
available for further comment.

Possible motives for the theft remain unclear. A ransom demand is seen as one
likely development, as the Cube, whose value is almost incalculable, could not
be sold on the open market. John Ha, owner of the Ha Gallery on the Mobius
Strip, conjectured that the Cube may have been stolen "to order" for a wealthy
collector.

Academy insiders told reporters today that security has been notoriously lax on
the night of the winter ball, the high point of the Academy's social calendar, One
high-ranking Academy official who preferred not to be named, remarked,

CUBE STOLEN IN DEADLY RAID
JAN 16 2004 (267 AC)--- BY IONA RODIE
The Receda Cube was stolen
from the academy museum last night in a raid which left one security
guard dead. Police chief Eoin Morgan described the theft, which took
place during the Annual Academy Ball as "highly organised and
technologically sophisticated." Fran Mendling, 42, was killed with a
neuro-suppressant device, making it impossible
to pinpoint the time of death. Academy spokesperson Valerian Reynolds revealed
that security cameras and sensors were offline throughout the Ball. She

So, me and a few others have read the entire paper at least 3 times each, pouring over every ad, classified and print.

We can't find shiat, so either there's an insert in the print version, and puzzle or we missed something (unlikely).

Yeah, but you can register and get a 7-day free trial - that's what we're all using.

Missing Clue

I'm not saying this is what happened, but I'm guessing that IF there was a mistake, it was because the office of the Sun was closed for President's Day and ads are running from the 23rd this week. So if there is an obvious LOST. The Cube. ad tomorrow, that's why.

www.bugmenot.com is also a great site for providing log in details for sites that you'd normally have to register to get on.
