Clearly, what we need is a support group.

<rehijacking the original topic of The LA event here>
Of course most of the info on the event is down but I did dig up that the event called "Vectors" put on by USC's Annenberg. Of course their site seems to be in the process of an upgrade/overhaul but I did dredge this up :http://www.iml.annenberg.edu/downloads/vectors/vectors_press_release.pdf
"A reception follows, complete with new media guerilla activity." - MoCA Site, I believe that's where our friends are, do we need a password?

See you tomorrow night, I hope! Hey, I'm so glad to see a few of you can come Place Storm and adventure with me Thursday night!~ it's free and open to the public, with food and drink, yum, so bring along anyone you want!
Just to give a quick update on the game-- it looks like from 7 - 8 will be the "stealth recruitment" phase, in which I sign up prospective players and have stealth conversations with ya'll... 8 - 10 will be the phase of "have fun stalking the Wi-Fi Bedouin!" (think Billy Crystal in Princess Bride) If you get there later than 8, no worries, just look for me and I'll sign you up to play.
We're looking at maybe 20 minutes for a total game from start to finish, with opportunities to play it multiple times if you want to team up differently or look for a different "secret file" and what not.
oooh... secret files.
Okay, see you there! Remember, it's the Grand St. downtown LA MoCA, the one near that crazy Gehry theater.

I will be there early to catch the "Visual Music" art show at LA MOCA. I have been meaning to see the exhibit for a while now. I am a big fan of visual music in fact a was a founding member of long defunct Visual Music Alliance organization so I know I will see work of people that I know.
I will have my "I Love Bees" badge on so I can be found by other beekeepers.
