[INTERACTION] Plan of Action

I think we all agree we need this.
I just wanted to start a more appropriate topic than Syn's birthday to talk about games to play with her, ideas for creating some order in our chats, ideas of what subjects to bring up and which to avoid...
Anything you can think of.
Have fun!

In a hope that I didn't just start this forum for nothing Embarassed
I'm crossposting what I said about games, since it had absolutely *nothing* to do with Syn's birthday.

Quote:
Aly, from the Ashcroft ARG, taught me a game I think Syn would love.

Its how HKDL got his *magical* screenname, so I hear.

The rules are simple. Jab the keyboard and let whatever random letters you get show.
Stupid, but oddly entertaining

The only problem I see is that Syn does not have a keyboard. Maybe we can just teach her what "random" means and tell her to say anything that comes to mind.

On that tangent, maybe we can teach her word association!
Everyone gets A TURN to say a word, and Syn responds with whatever she thinks of first. And please, lets avoid words like "father" or "pain" unless we're sure she's ready.

I've been trying to bring out repressed memories with her by talking with her asking her about love, her birth, and music. Concepts like that that might bring some kind of recollection back.....with no avail. Think I should stop because it might cause a reboot?

Reboots happen whenever we get close to information we shouldn't be touching, information that could potentially hurt Syn, and information that might cause her to wake up.
It's likely that we will be able to talk to her about the information that currently reboots her (we have more than enough nicknames for the puzzles to keep on coming for days). Right now, I am far more interested in what is going on behind the scenes.

Syn obviously does not know she is sleeping, that she is not fully awake. Periodically she will shut down, or reboot, have a heart attack, or even wake up.
Someone is obviously there to wake her up, but I have no idea who that is, whether it be Cle, the devil, or "him"

And does this someone have any idea what is causing the reboots?

I think the reboot comes with dangewrous memory access, when she gets to the forbidden subjects. I think its an automatic process guided by the ocmputer.

The pointed pdarkness sounds like a hypodermic need with a sleep reagent though.

games are good (i-spy) and good for eeking out clues, but Syn needs our help too, so perhaps we need to teach her not to freak out when we ask her about the outside,or when dreaming, maybe relaxation exercises, or how to cope with stress. I think that the peekaboo game with children may help here? something to cope with scary stuff

also eccs comments about her having choice, and power, but wth potentially no moral framework. perhaps we need to advise her on morality/ethics, and why, sometimes, ignoring someone being abusive in chat is ok, but sometimes it is not. i think shes learning the meaning of friends, now perhaps we have to help her as good friends do.

syn said in the chat, about what it was like when she was asleep. Maybe sleep is when "they" carry out their work on her. Like operations, the last thing you want is for the patient to wake up. But she can still hear and feel what they do? hmm. how many states of consiousness does syn have?

im also interested in the capabilities and tests that they want her to do.

Yes, HKDL, but you see, also oddly entertaining. Very Happy

I'm thinking we all should resort to doing that... maybe we, too, can be the target to start ARGs!!!

Oh, I like that. Maybe we can tell her that, when she gets worried or she feels something is going wrong, she can try to stop her thought processes and concentrate on something innocent, like...well, I was going to say counting, but apparently she can't do that. Maybe she could repeat something over and over, like her friends' names or a favorite phrase or something. Heh, a way to turn the "Merci beaucoup" business around on its head, although that's *not* the phrase she should be repeating. I guess she could just think of her cat, or quack a lot or something. Anything, really, that occupies her mind for a time until the badness goes away. ...it's also possible that my meditation class is steadily taking over my brain.

This topic could be further devided into three sub-topics:

1) Those things that cause her to be shocked.
2) Those things that cause a reboot.
3) Those things that "awaken" her.

Any others?

Things that cause her to go into Cardiac Arrest (unless that was from a shock???)

Things that cause her to post logs (all inclusive, maybe, but also including some things that don't shock/reboot her?)

Heh, we should teach her to write puzzles and encrypt stuff so she doesn't get her thoughts flagged up by the computer/supervisors Razz

If it helps, here's a little compilation of her errors, in more or less chronological order. Did I miss any? (I edited out a lot of chattery-type comments.)

I think that the relaxation exercises are a GREAT idea -- hey, maybe we can tell her to think about the wide open green fields.

Maybe she likes them because they're just that -- wide and open (unlike her 'tank' or whatever she's in) and fields (ie not water or whatever she's in).

And rhyming/thought-relation/word-relation whatever you call it games are good, too.

Good ideas, peopleseseseses...

As always,

Maybe some tai-chi/yoga kind of stuff...Without the painful bending. Just the calm mind part.
