At ftp://www.perplexcity.com/ I get access to a file with a folder called Pub ( I assume meaning public) which is empty, and a file called welcome.msg. I can download this file but cant do much more with it...

It's all just the default FTP stuff that you'd find in any anonymous FTP directory that wasn't actually being used.

I tried sticking in a few of the names from the error logs and various pass's a few weeks (or months, no idea) ago. Didnt get anywhere but i thought it was worth something. It's been like this for ages too, i dont think anything particular will turn up.

Okey guys this is soooo beyond Out Of Game....

Pair networks is the hosting for the perplex city game, they are a company, real life, out of game...

Dont start attacking there FTP with random passwords/usernames or ur gonna get a admin there very unhappy, maybe to the point of suspious activity "unhappy"

There's been no indication that we should be looking in the FTP or trying to break into it. Please don't attempt to guess usernames and passwords. If we were meant to do this, it would be very clearly shown as one of the ARG commandments is about not brute forcing. This is slightly different but still don't try to get into it.
