Pure [spec] on my part here, but perhaps bodhisattva play some importance in this story.

Bodhisattva are people who have left the material world but can still exert a positive influence on it. They are trapped between the dimensions, in a no-man's-land of non-definition between the earthly and astral worlds.

They can see the suffering of mankind as the agents of the First Fallen (the Devil) coerce humans into committing sins and are constantly looking for ways to ease their suffering.

Just thought that I'd throw this out there for someone to pounce on and produce something meaningful out of it.

some specs :
when syn was looking through the cameras she saw a girl in a tank. she said it wasnt her. possiblity 1, it is the new friend, possibility 2, its her, but not her body as she remembers it. shes in a new one!
ok. im going with 1, its the new friend. the friend is another subject. remember some website log that says that "this subject had free will?" or something like that - choice in the wrong hands! Maybe also the Good path and the bad path.... maybe syn is good cos she has morals, but the new one thinks morals are restricting?

maybe synagoga isnt as good as the new friend, in the eyes of Them...maybe choosing anon versus syn would lead to the bad stuff?
