i would also subscribe to the view that we have forfeited the game if not for the fact that if we had, the pm's would surely have made it more explicit that we'd done so, wouldn't they?

i mean, what better opportunity for brdget to turn round, rip off the mask covering her demonic face and proclaim 'you have failed!! MWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!'

that's what i would have done, not some vague hint towards crying that may have been tears of joy/fear/dissapointment (at us lot).....
