Another tangent I went wildly off on was when I noticed the scouts page where the symaphore guys were had a option called signal hill. Now signal hill is a point on table mountain in South Africa (which ties in with the going up a mountain thing) which has another point called Devils Peak. I dont think that this means anything but I thought I would write it just in case

ive also tried lookin through most if not all of the images for hidden text and theres no luck there. has anyone been contacted by synagoga since the chat?

As I told yesterday night on irc, I think we're subestimating the titlle of the /hiker page as an hint - in fact, it's the only direct hint we've been given to work something out of the "semaphore" image...
The page title says: "Goin'up a mountain!". Maybe we should try to find some kind of ascensional pattern inside the image - in the positioning of the flags or something.

Or maybe we sould just sit on the floor and desperately cry: HEEEELLLPPP!!!

Do we think there is any reason as to why the bottom left character has different coloured flags? Also opened the image as a doc file and noticed somebody had implanted the word ducky into the file! Smile

Nothing else there i can see though.

It may bea coincidence, but...
the guy on the bottom row is raising his flag in increments, up until the odd, two person symbol.

This is the only visual pattern I can see as yet, other than the top row has four guys that almost form a palindrome

I *was* noticing that flipping the image made the first row work almost perfectly, but it hits more and more snags as it goes on;
