ROTing yeilds jibberish maybe we need to seperate by color then ROT. There are some discernable words in this tho...Perhaps only ROT one color
on the 4th one all of the items begin with G, Gera Kazbek from the Republic of Georgia, Galveston, Gregory Ave, and the flag of Greece.
On the first page all of the are drinking and the last one has red eyes, not sure about the rest. I do not take credit for the first and last ones
Can anyone recognize the band on the last one?

It looks like the final puzzle, as everyone is now pulled out in a real pouzzle fest. Seems like 10 pages, each is a mystery. The chaton is updated with a strange pattern, and it has gotten stranger and stranger.
The simple puzzles are now gone. This is the all out blitz tonight, gang.

Should we include a seperate topic for /silence? Are these two seperate puzzles? Or should we make this topic include /silence - change the topic to 2-28-04 Updates? Could we use my update thread to solve the puzzle?
Any thoughts people?

we figured out creator/6
the names and numbers are celebrity names and birthdays
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Jeff Daniels 19
Danny Devito 17
Leo Dicaprio 11
Larry David 2
Doris Day 3
Salvador Dali 11
and I hate to be Mr. Obvious here but all those start with a "d" theres some spec that each page should give us one letter
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
/4 appears to be "G" we've got Galveston, Greece, Gregory and Gora Kazbek

They all seem to be tied to a nickname
The number puzzle for Numbers the location one for Mappy the log file for Teacher the last one for Photographer (I hope) and the birthday puzzle because we gave Syn a birthday. It's sweet if the climax is shaped off of it's players.
Props to the PMs

so far:
1 (drinks)
2 (the only thing in common is a sapphire laser)
3 blackwhite (prefixes)
4 mappy (4Gs)
5 ballet (shoes)
6 stargazer (celebrity birthdays)
7 numbers? (not sure what to make of here)
8 teacher (field trip itinerary)
9 ??? (russian letters?)
10 photographer (redeye)
and on chaton, ghost (ghostly image)
still confusing, but we may have something in that line.
Kelis: time to unlock that secret, dude. Your nick?

EDIT: Moved /silence stuff to /silence thread.
And I think the Russian can be solved by substitution. If anyone feels like combing through a very long list of possibilites: http://tinyurl.com/4dfvk , but there's probably a much 'easier' way.

7 - AND?
EDIT:
Code:
<securityCodes>
<code="650" />
<code="1.09737" />
<code="39.948" />
</securityCodes>
650 is the area code of San Francisco peninsula (may or may not be part of the answer)
1.09737 is part of Ryndberg's constant
*Rydberg constant = 10 973 731.6 m
-1
*http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rydberg_constant
39.948 is the atomic mass of Argon
*http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argon
So the Rydberg Constant of Argon is -612,334,223.28? (Someone who remembers more about Chemistry should check that.)

9 is definitely greek, not russian. I've got to go to work. If it's still unsloved when I get home tonight, I'll work on it.

Also on the theme of chemistry, 650 is the melting point of magnesium.

The final puzzle? What the hell? The storyline doesn't seem to have reached a memorable climax. This is complete puzzle overload, I hope we're not expected to solve these anytime soon.
