Well, so, I tried the anagram generator too. Except I decided to try something different and plug in "Sente Marchant."
A MERCHANTS TEN
A MERCHANT NEST --- (Consider the antique dealer S. Marchant & Son.)
A MERCHANT SENT

I also decided to try something different and typed in: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". You'll never believe...

Slightly OT: Sente is currency in Lesotho Umm, I am sure this must have been mentioned before, but I could not find it in the search. Sente is a unit of currency in Lesotho according to answers.com:
http://www.answers.com/sente&r=67
Lesotho is the land-locked country inside South Africa.

You know that Sente is a term used in the game Reversi right? It means to have the initiative, to control the play. I posted it on the Wiki. ^^

The question on everyone's lips has to be:
How do you pronounce Sente?

I always say "sent-ay", rhymes with Bent-Way. As in "Sent-ay is trying to find his kyoobay".

Ipronounce it as Senté, dunno why, I just think it sounds better than 'Scent'

Not only is Sente a monetary unit of Lesotho, it also means "first" in Japanese, or the "lead."
It fits with Sente being head of the Academy. Meaning, Sente isn't actually his real name.

To me it looks like the kind of name that could exist in many languages; French, Japanese, Italian, Spanish... the could be a million pronunciations.
For the record, I think it's a sort of African sounding Sentee. It could easily be a more french sounding "Santé". I just think it really looks almost Kenyan... I have images of a big wise Kenyan kinda guy.

Mr. Alex Smith, if you are correct (and I have no way of verifying) that Sente means first or head or whatever... then it is very possible that indeed we are dealing with a title, not a name.
As in "Number One". This is the headmaster of the academy, or what have you... I just find that interesting. Can anyone else confirm or deny that Sente means first or head?

I always pronounce Sente as Senté. That's probably my French coming out though.
