Does Teleport Belong ? Just a poll. Inquiring mind(s) would like to know.
The recent updates at redkore.com are disturbing to say the least.

I dont think it belongs, but it would be sad (as I tend to enjoy the discussions) if the forum was lost (as I think that much of this might then die down...). But I have long waited for this question to be brought up as this (for quite some time now) really hasn't in anyway been related and probably never will be again
BTW; Im not a unf frequenter so my vote probably doesn't count

When RedKore had its own stable phpBB going, it seemed redundant to have discussions here. I can understand if people want to keep this as a haven for when the TELEPORT site has no working forum.
Whatever this "interactive art experience" turns out to be, it does not seem to be a game with puzzles to solve, not in the sense that there is a puzzle master with THE answer key. Technically, it is not an ARG, and does not deserve the amount of bandwidth it takes up here.
Other off-topic discussions do have their place. If the community here is keenly interested in the fall network television line-up, for example, a small corner of the forum can handle such discussions. I think people are just overwhelmed at the amount of posts generated by such a small interest group.

This is related I came into contact with unfiction and the ARG community through TELEPORT. I wouldn't otherwise.
I think this is related because a lot of ARG people are interested in this. Why kill the discussion? It's been a lot of fun so far and it brought me here.

Exactly the point I made in chat! Welcome!
It's easy enough to skip past RK if you don't want to follow it. I do the same for the stuff I'm not interested in.

FWIW, I'd say there's no problem having this discussion here where it is, in News, Rumors and Diversions, as opposed to an ARG category. There are definitely rumors as to what it's all about, and it sure is proving to be an interesting diversion for some.
Even though I'm not really active (even though I actually have a trip kit), I'm still curious.

perhaps the poll should be extended with:
Does belong: Keep it
Doesn't belong: keep it anyway
Doesn't belong: ditch it
(just a thought)

I have no intention of deleting it anyway. It doesn't hamper me in any way to keep it, and I'm not into throwing information away just because I don't like it.

As I've said before... and I'll simplify it even more so its a little more potent:
If there's absolutely no doubt that something is or is not an ARG... is it really an ARG? To me Alternate reality is fairly self-explanatory.
Sure this might be an Uber TING... or maybe not... it might be a well crafted but less perfectly implemented ARG that we havent fully discovered yet... or maybe not. However let's assume that this is
"ARG-like" if it is... and we find out more later... we'll wish the forum had stayed.
