Plague was mentioned in emails. Not sure if it is actually a puzzle or not.

The caps come in each email. It is still unsolved.

Tick Tock is the name of the Chaton page. It is also references within some chats. we do not know or have spec on its meaning.

Latest Message

Here is the latest from her (4 hours ago):

It was plenty coherent... and you are learning as I expected you should.

Maybe you are beginning to understand why I loathe Synagoga? And
maybe you are beginning to see how much she... excels... at the tasks
that are given to her. My, my, what a quick learner. Fastest I've
ever seen.

What she is not, is special, however. She was not gifted in any
way... and it was lucky for all of us that she wasn't. Who knows
where she would be now if she was...

My Response (5 minutes ago):

> It was plenty coherent... and you are learning as I expected you should.

I see. It is good to know that I am not completely off-base in my
speculations. I am slightly disappointed to be learning only "as I
expected you should", but I would imagine that you don't really want
two star pupils at the moment.

Besides constantly impinging on the sovereignty of your very mind?
She has been given a second chance, and many abilities (although at a
steep cost), that others could have probably used better, I would
imagine. I know I can think of loved ones I wish could have been
saved from the frailty of their bodies, although I do not believe i
would wish for them to go through the procedures implied by some of
the revealed logs. She certainly is a fast learner. She certainly
showed abilities recently that I had not hoped her capable of, at
least not at this time.

OUT

I do not wish to offend, but it seems that recent events may have
shifted the status quo between you, her, and him. If you are still
concerned about her well-being after having some time to reflect,
sharing with us may be the best way to have a hand in her growth
still. I cannot guess at what distance and at what levels of
conception you may still be in contact; I suspect that you may not
have a perfect understanding yourself, to be honest. I wonder if even
he knows.

A plot twist?

Received 1:45 ago:

He is not here anymore. He is gone. Gone gone, far away... Never to
return. Nope. Never again. Never ever ever. Good bye to Him. Good
bye!

Noresponse sent at this time (pondering)

So she seems confident that He is not going to return?

Hmm...

Shocked You don't suppose she has killed HIM, do you? Shocked She is obviously capable of committing such an act. Which reminds me, who's blood was on the urn in the first place?

Yeah, considering that the last time she was with Syn, she killed her. I would say it's quite likely. Which means that Clea may be back in the driver's seat. Which can't be good for Syn...

The kitten's? Syn's?

PlanB, I guess we'll see what Syn has to say next time we see her

This reply I just got from Syn asking to enlist her help.

It's not my job anymore with what she does... I'm suspended, remember?

But if I ever have the chance again to send her to the glory of God
himself, trust me, I'll do it. And without your consent.

I plan to reply.

You do what you need to. But at this point, it is too late for you to send Syn back to the glory of God. The only way you will ever get the chance is if she is unable to dodge or when her back is turned.

Not too long before the 'meltdown' I sent this to Clea:

Quote:
What would bring you comfort?

and got back:

Quote:
Silence... A moment of silence once my time here is finished and my story is complete.

I sent a reply trying to probe if BAEL was maybe the interpretation of the capital letters:

Quote:
There is a place comfortaBle for you. I feel you approAching. ThEre is stilL work to be done.

and got back:

Quote:
Work, work, work, always work to be done. Must keep going... Must do my work... Must finish the job. Yes... Yes... Yes... Must finish the job. Oh... I will finish the job. Finish the job, I will. The job will be finished. Finish, finish, finish.

It almost sounds like she's the rabbit from Alice in wonderland (where bael may, in fact, be LATE?)
But that is indeed a very cryptic answer. When I asked her to redo the puzzle, she basically said I was a wretched duck, and gave a pretty strong "NO"
I'm thinking we have all the peices of the puzzle.

Silence, lately, seems to be a common theme in her email.

I suspect she can still hear Syn through the brain link.

As such, I think it might be a good idea to try and encourage Syn to cut this link from her end. This might provide Ecc with more peace of mind, and increase her general coherence.

In regards to the letters 'A' 'B' 'E' and 'L'... Couldn't they spell 'ABEL'? As in Cain and Abel? Or have we thought about that?

in chat, the link was referred to. So I threw this email down...

ok, you are out, able to walk away from it all. But can you remove the link or have it removed, take yourself away now and forever from this?

So, i'm waiting for Wiskers to come on AIM and decide to re-read this thread to refresh my memory about some things....

And I noticed the bit about the CAP letters, A B L E E, and realised that it is an anagram for BEALE. Which of course is the famous cipher.

So I assume it was meant as a hint to help solve the puzzle involving the speech from general McArthur.

A little late now, but better late than never. Laughing
