Stealth Gaijin: People might not, but that doesn't mean it's bad! It just means you haven't met the right people!

OmniEmp: A lot of people feel that way at times, but there's always something that makes it worth it. Things like friends, and your cat, and happy moments.
Synagoga1: And I showed her Cat.
Synagoga1: And she said Cat's not real!
Synagoga1: And I said Cat is real!
NightmareTony: she may be a worry wart
Stealth Gaijin: If you know Cat is real, that's all you need to know!
OmniEmp: Well, "real" isn't a very precise term.
Synagoga1: And she told me that Cat is some... thing... like a GIFamation or something like that.
Synagoga1: Some big words.
NightmareTony: gif is but a picture you find on Giggle.
Synagoga1: You mean things on Giggle aren't real?
Stealth Gaijin: That doesn't mean Cat is not real. It only changes the nature of Cat!
NightmareTony: Giggle points to thing that aRE real, buyt only pictures of them.
NightmareTony: You may see a picture of Cat, but there is a real Cat somewhere around.
OmniEmp: Depends on what you mean by real. Cat is an image, but she's a real image. What she means to you, that's real.
Synagoga1: But.... but... I feel things on Giggle...
Stealth Gaijin: Then to you, they're real.
MaxInc4: how do you feel them?
Synagoga1: I'm confused...
NightmareTony: Yes. And they are of real things. The pictures help you find them.
Stealth Gaijin: It doesn't matter what anyone else says.

OmniEmp: Heh, we're a little confused too. Can you describe how you feel things on Giggle?
Synagoga1: I just do.
Synagoga1: I put in words and I feel and see things.
NightmareTony: You reach and talk to Giggle and Giggle shows you things.
MaxInc4: do they make you feel happy, sad or something else?
Synagoga1: Yes.
Synagoga1: It depends.
NightmareTony: Giggle hads pictures to show you. Pictures of real and not real things.
NightmareTony: If I point you, I can show you a picture of me on Giggle. A ipcture from many mons ago when I was a monk. It is not me right now, but me back then.
Synagoga1: Ok.
OmniEmp: So, when you visit Cat, can you touch her? Pet her, feed her? Does she do things?
Synagoga1: Cat moves.
NightmareTony: like you found Cat. A picture of Cat.
Synagoga1: And I feel fur.
Synagoga1: But I cannot see Cat.
Synagoga1: I can feel cat.
MaxInc4: can you feel us?
Stealth Gaijin: Then it sounds like Cat is real to you.
Synagoga1: I can feel your presence.
MaxInc4: is it a good or a bad feeling?
Synagoga1: But I don't know where you are.

Synagoga1: She tells me to shut up.

MaxInc4: you have to be gracious to her

snorlison: Maybe she just need space.

Stealth Gaijin: Sometimes, when people are mean, it means they just need to think. They need to be on their own.
Stealth Gaijin: I bet she is confused, too, and because she's confused she's mean.
Synagoga1: So does that mean she needs to be alone all of the time?
OmniEmp: Maybe she likes to be alone inside her head, where she can hear your voice.
MaxInc4: we all need to be alone sometimes

Stealth Gaijin: Maybe not all of the time -- I'm sure when she's ready to not be alone, she'll come out again!
snorlison: Only she knows how long she needs to be alone.
Stealth Gaijin: But I think maybe we should try to let her get un-confused!
Stealth Gaijin: That way, maybe there's a chance she'll be nice!
OmniEmp: I agree with stealth - couldn't hurt, and it would keep her from saying mean things to you, probably. Right?

OmniEmp: Well, only to her. If you want to? I figure, why talk to someone who's so mean?

OmniEmp: Oh. I didn't realize that. We don't want you to stop talking to us!
Stealth Gaijin: Do you know how to use mail? Like we do?

snorlison: Can you keep secrets from Eccleastia, Synagoga?

OmniEmp: Maybe we can figure out a way to keep her from hearing you. Perhaps you could imagine a wall in your head, that blocks her out and keeps your thoughts private. Do you think something like that could work?
Synagoga1: Maybe....
Stealth Gaijin: I think we should try it!

snorlison: Like a Faraday cage of the mind.
Synagoga1: Ok... I'll stop talking now...
Synagoga1 has left the room.

snorlison: Looks like we weren't clear enough.
VII days a week: Guess not.
Stealth Gaijin: That did not work out quite as planned. But we did get info from it. And maybe now Ecc will open up.
VII days a week: Well, I guess she won't be getting on again tonight

"97 South Ashe Road", what the hell is that? Could it be Ashe Road in Bakersfiled, CA?

It could be. We have reason to believe that the lab is in the Pacific time zone. I giggled at the address, but came up empty handed. And just looking for "South Ashe Road" got me a funeral home in South Carolina!

PlanB, would Bakersfield be in area code 650?

 		Someone needs to sit this girl down for a good conversation about Plato's Allegory of the Cave. (erm, not sure if Plato.)

Becuase the thing is, she's seeing the shadows on the wall. We have actual cats, then we have pictures of cats, and then we have pictures of cats on the internet (which don't even have substance).

Its a low tech version of the Matrix. Syn has to distinguish between:
things she hears online
things she sees THROUGH Cle
things she sees herself
things she hears from her vat

All, I must say, very confusing

 		Heh, someone needs to sit her down with a copy of The Matrix. Then she can proceed to say "whoa" a lot while trying to kill Clea with mental kung-fu.

(btw, it is in fact Plato)

 		Omnie-- indeed. Considering that I *just* gave a 45 minute presentation on the dual realities and epistemology of the Matrix for Honors Philosohpy, I'm gonna shut up NOW so I don't ramble on for hours.
By the way--- I love the location you posted on your info.
Though I no longer chat with Syn, my spirit lives on... quack quack!
