I think it means "to our" or "to ours"

Thanks hehe

Anyone noticed that although the basic ouija picture looks like this http://www.brainjar.com/dhtml/ouija/graphics/board.jpg there are some differences (apart from the abvious) the text seems to be a completely different font. Not the solid one from the source file, it looks like... a font i cant find cuz i'm on linux atm hehe. I'll get back to you on that one. Also under "good bye" on the ATWOG page there seems to be something written or a picture.. I can't quite make it out.

Any ideas?

I inverted the colors on the image, I think it's easier to see now. I'm not sure about the stuff below "goodbye" being a word, it looks like a blur. Anyways maybe this can help....

Just thought it might be a word because there's nothing to blur from the source image

Kender mentioned this in chat earlier. However, the 'missing letters' are ADNOSTRUM. ad nostrum.

Beh, missed that.

This puzzle certainly *seems* possible. There certainly are enough clues.

I should point out if you use the Ouija board as a "codekey" (that is, each letter changes to the one above or below it) you get the same ROT13 translation as with Zrffntr - Message.

Better font?
The "yes," "no," and "goodbye" still don't look right, but the image seems to be fairly standard. I'd guess that the stuff we can't make out is probably along the lines of some boring copyright text.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Nostradamus?

[edit2] Ooh!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Verses VIII.1 and VIII.57 of Nostradamus' prophecies refer to Napoleon.

http://againstthewillofgod.com/napoleon/

And a bit more explanation:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
VIII.1:
Pau, nay, loron, more in fire their blood shall be,
Seen to swim, great ones shall run to their surreys,
The aggassas shall refuse the entry,
Pampon, Durance shall keep them enclosed.

"This odd quatrain is actually a play on words. If 'Pau, nay, loron' is switched around, it becomes Nay, pau, loron or Napoleon." source

VIII.57:
From simple soldier he will attain to Empire,
from the short robe he will grow into the long.
Brave in arms, much worse towards the Church,
he vexes the priests as water fills a sponge.

This one is a bit more straightforward.

Yay Omnie!

If anyone's still wondering what the letters mean then, 'Nostradamus' can be spelled out of the 'missing letters'.

Which I tried for hours and hours... But using avery letter only once - dumb me, I should have imagined that the letters could be used more than once. Once again, nice job Omnie.
