That page title looks similar to the logo of this design agency also called Syzygy.

Coincidence?

Yes, it probably is - mentioned elsewhere but basically it's the site for some web design company. They've been around for a few years, done lots of utterly dull non-ARG web design jobs and it all seems very OOG.

But we also don't know the extent that this ARG's websites are going to be like. ILB didn't have a super cool site.

Just saying that you can't make that kind of determination based on how cool the website looks. The site just needs to match the ARG in game (i.e. made by a corporation, looks spiffy, made by a 10 year old, looks lame, etc.) and be believable.

Not to mention, we've only seen two sites in Perplex so far, and neither of them were anything to write home about.

OK, my point was that since they've worked on the sites of some pretty big corporate clients here in the UK (Boots, Barclays, Lloyds TSB, O2, Marks and Spencer, etc.) it seems unlikely that it's related to the game simply because none of those sites are in-game and it's an awful lot of work to go to just to make your ARG more immersive.

Really, the only suggestion that we have of a link is the name and the logo (and the logo isn't on of the braille-type symbols we've seen so far anyway). The conclusion of it being OOG was not drawn based upon how cool the site looked but how unlikely it seemed that it was unrelated. Though I'll concede you point about the sites we've seen so far, which is why I said 'probably' not 'definitely' Smile
