Meet Sean Stewart! Sean Stewart will be in Chicago for the Nebula Awards, and has expressed a desire to get together with any beekeepers that can make it.
Let the planning commence.

From an article on the post-muppets world of the creature workshop:
Quote:
Just last week, "Daily Variety" reported that Henson's daughter had aquired the production rights to a number of interesting novels. These included:
Sean Stewart's "Perfect Circle," a darkly comic novel about a Texan in his 30's who's regularly visited by ghosts.

Good!!!
FINALLY!
I was afraid I'd have to tell Sean it will be just Krystyn, Kali and me.
Heh. All girls, then.
Well, I'm sure he won't mind.

Ok, after talking to Krystyn, I am tentatively planning on joining you all in Chicago.
After working on two games together (not to mention the 4 years of chatting... 4 years?!?!), it's about time that Krystyn & I meet live and in person! (woo!) Throw in the fact that that weekend should be completely free & clear of work (if I'm correct, all my semester work needs to be finished by 4/29) and Sean is up for a Nebula Award (how very cool and deserving!), it just seems as if I should hop on a plane and join you all!
I won't know for sure until I nail down my summer internship (hopefully in the next two weeks), as I can probably do this or DiGRA but not both and, sorry Sean (Krystyn & everyone else) but DiGRA comes first Now, I just gotta find a really cool company that wouldn't mind me taking off for a few days in the midst of the internship so that I could fly to Vancouver...

I shall wait with bated breath! It will be fantastic to actually hang out with you in person! Amazing, isn't it? Two big ol' games, and we've never met.
Let's play euchre! Perhaps Sean and ... Phaedra will double with us? And we can totally cheat, like in the old days?

Oh d00d. If Brooke and K are BOTH gonna be there, now I GOTTA come.
Hmm maybe I will drag Wolf with me.

um, don't go tellin' em that were going to cheat! it makes the cheating so much more difficult.
hmmmm... is there a diner down the street from you with some great apple pie?
d00d!
4 of us? together and in person? wouldn't that cause some sort of cosmic implosion or something?
and what's this about wolf in drag?

There would be dates and times for this, perhaps...?
My DVD could use another signature besides Mr. Blevens'....

You know, the more I think about this, the more it makes sense for me to try to make it up to Chicago for THIS rather than Hivemeet. I mean, much as I love the beekeepers, I never technically WAS one, and so not being a Halo player and all I would be sort of lost with all the talk of cryptic stuff like "sticking it" (heeheehee, sounds dirty) and the Flood or what have you. But, I *have* followed Sean's work since that other ARG game thingy he did back in 2000 or so, I forget what it was called. And plus, I gotta see K and Brooke actually meet in person, during that split second just before the universe implodes. So umm maybe this would be a better fit thingy thingy.
Plus, you know, pie and drinky things. Soo awesome.
