Don't be so quick to judge Meak. If he's in Northern Ireland that's part of the United Kingdom as stipulated in the T&Cs. We'll just have to wait and see.

Hi guys, new poster, but I have been lurking and have read pretty much everything on this these forums.

Something has been concerning me with your excellent analysis of the "final" puzzle.

My understanding is that the Fibonacci sequence is actually 0,1,1,2,3,5,8 etc not 1,1,2,3,5,8 as used above. This is interesting because if you use the correct Fibonacci sequence then the prize money is actually not the 21st number in the sequence but the 22nd. Given the prevalence of the number 21 throughout the game and it's square 441 being mentioned in the hotel guest books I think that this is may be more than coincidence.

The reference to returning to the beginning may be linked to the answer. The 13th (13th disciple betrayed Jesus, so links in to the pieces of silver clue) number in the true Fibonacci sequence is 144, i.e the backwards version of 441 and it's square root is 12, i.e. the backwards version of 21. Are all the 21's really indicating backwards 12's and as such should we be numbering the sequence in the puzzle in reverse order? Maybe one of the other unused numbers we already have should be reversed to allocate values to the symbols?

Sorry I'm providing more questions rather than answers but I just thought this might be significant as the 13th number in the sequence is also unique as it's the only one who's square root is a whole number and given 13's evil connotations it seemed like something we shouldn't ignore.

Hope that wasn't too annoying a first post.
Embarassed

no, it's not about the money.

but it IS annoying when a newbie comes along and PRETENDS to finish the game that all of us have been working so hard at for the past year or so.

he is lying, i know it.

Damn... I thought I found it.
It seemed so likely.. In the Crossword puzzle (Hornchurch Star)
All the Symbols are mentioned... I tried 4 different combo's but no phonenumber...
Still searching if I missed something.,.. Maybe this will help some of you too... Could still be the right direction.

First of all, Bluemachina that is great spec.

Second, who says lenny is a newbie? He may be new to this forum but he may have been playing from the start and just chose to post here to let us know.

Then again he could be a fraud
We'll have to wait and see. Or keep trying.

Lenny if you did find the number and win the reward....Congratulations!! Please tell us as soon as you can what the solution was.

He's obviously not won the prize or he would tell us how he did it otherwise.
It clearly states that the first person to crack the puzzle and ring the number wins the prize, if he has done this then he'll have nothing to hide and he can tell us the solution without fear of anyone else claiming it, as it is already his, if he has solved it then Kudos to him well done.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but updates in this game have usually been based around the dates and info in the Hornchurch Horoscope, so on March 21st, which is the next change in the dates there maybe some more clues forthcoming, surely the PM's will have to drag it out towards the closing date.

I never expected this to be an easy puzzle to solve, not when there is a 10 grand prize at the end of it, i'm just glad I got outbid for one of the UNKLE CD's that Bridgid was selling on EBay, £40 seemed my limit, seen as it's only worth £11.99 in HMV!

symbols

the symbols are also to find in the hornchurchstar crosswordpuzzle.
11: raven
14: trident
4: soul (butterfly)
21: serpent
23: fire
17: dog

but I honestly don't think the solution lies here (but, since we always metioned everything here..)

I'm still not sure about one thing: the numbers we are supposed to write in the 2-digit boxes, do you guys think that they will BE the actual telephone number, or just some other kind of code, with no direct relation to the real phone number?
Because, just speculating, it is likely that the real phone number to call will be a number at LowePlus. I know it's not really in-game, and it's quite unlikely (I think the phone number has no relation with the puzzle numbers), but, since we're quite stuck and trying pretty much everything...

M.

"Fate sees you reading the works of Johann Von Goethe" I've been playing game since star, haven't bothered with forums.. i rang the number and got a recording saying "well done and congratulations on solving the puzzle. Unfortunately to arrange safe passage via Trident Air to collect the reward, you will have to finalise a contract with the director of acquisitions, and as of the moment we have not awarded new contracts. please be patient. A mystery man will soon enter your life. He will bring you your hearts desire. At a price (a woman laughs faintly in the background followed by an dead tone...) me finks the game is still very much on...

All right, well then....

Since you were the first to ring the telephone number you already won in my opinion. Congratulations on that!! Razz
But the rest of us are stuck. I think it wouldn't hurt if you helped us solve the puzzle? You don't have to tell us the actual solution if you don't want to, but a hint would most definitely be welcome Rolling Eyes Wink

Cheers, SlowZone

So the game is still on.

Lenny, given your accurate and honest portrayal, I also congratulate you. May I ask then, since you have discovered that there is not an end to this game as of yet, could you describe how such a solution came to mind?
