Phyllis appears to be holding up fine

Dear Pam,

Yes, Phyllis is certainly a very strong woman. You should have seen
her
today, standing in front of this milling, jostling, shouting crowd of
press
people as she gave her statement. I believe it was to be placed on the
town
website soon if it is not already there.

She met every single one of those people's eyes and made them all look
away
first. She had shown me her speech before she gave it and I could not
help
but applaud her for how honest, straightforward and poised she was. It
is my
hope that they took it for what it was. She took pains to make no
false
claims of undying love, tell no lies and to make a clear statement that
she
knows nothing about anything Mr. Willingham may have been involved in.
I only
had a few suggestions for wording changes, so 99 % if that speech is
hers.

Mr. Marzano is a strange and troubling man. He is strong and has a
very mixed
up aura which I am still trying to interpret. Have you seen the vision
I had
while meeting his eyes? That, dear Pam, is my impression of him. He
seems to
be the sort who can bring you glory or despair, depending on what side
you
have chosen.

Iris
