The colleagues

I'm sorry if I'm just going over old ground and all, but I'm getting interested in the whole "find the colleagues" thing that is the bottom left one of the six pictures and now has been alluded to in the latest paper ad.

What do everyone think about it?

[Edit - this is in totally the wrong forum - moving - Fi]

that they want us to find everyone associated with the cube maybe? Or possibly that it was an inside job so we have to find everyone who works with Sente to illiminate them?

I think its a bit early on to be able to speculate on it afterall we have just as much evidence for it meaning find other perplex city players ie us Smile

I'm not at all sure it says "find the colleagues" - clearly, the full line reads "Find the cube. Return it. May you succeed where I and my colleagues have failed." and it just happened to get cut off in such a way, because they wanted to display the signature (which, naturally, is at the bottom).

Why do you think the "they" in the ad alluded to colleagues? It seems much more likely that "they" alludes to the thieves mentioned in the previous ad (for example, like in this compilation). Not to say that the thieves couldn't turn out to be the colleagues, of course, but so far I don't think there's any evidence of that...

I agree with the interpretation that "Find The Colleagues" was done intentionally. The seven names/cubes on the logo may be colleagues or even founders of the academy. It seems to me those seven names are historical proper nouns, like they are a part of the Academy's past. Are they all the names of people? Or of things that take an inititive?
Hmmm, curious.

I think they're dead and gone...probably forgotten and dusty somewhere. You don't get your name on something like that and get to be alive. Or worse than tha,t they're emeritus professors who wonder in at mid day to check their post, call internationally for free go for a swim and then go home. Somewhere I worked at recently had a problem with too many Emeritus professors doing just this and came up with a cunning plan...they put them in a large open plan office together with a single phone extension. They all got so outraged at having to answer phones for each other that their egos imploded and they all left.
