LOL no don't do that... hehehe

Also Note: Final cutt is in progress, should be up later tonight. Please refrain from submitting this vid until it is finalized tonight.

Just fixed a few things that seemed obvious to fix once my machine began to pick up speed in processing this monster.

I liked the video, unfortunately, the siren is a little loud and cuts out some of the dialogue, and where is the LIAR LIAR bit? Also, I wish I knew I was that quiet in my lines, I would've spoken up.

What are you using to edit? A 4 gig output should not choke a machine like that. Hell, that's only like 20 minutes of compressed DV.

Oh, and another vote for ANYTHING but .wmv.

Alright, finally got it downloaded. Highlarious! Funny stuff. I especially like that guy in yellow. Now as good as it was I think I have some notes. Epically after the post on HBO about movie quality I think that there are some things that we can do to improve the movies.

Camera man notes.

when filming next to the passenger side of the hog, take a step back to get rid of the "press x to enter the warthog" or crop the vid down so that we dont see it.

Smother camera movements, just to make it less confusing and jerky, maybe set your look sensitivity rather low so that it acts as a steady cam.

Costumer notes

More distinct armor colors. It was a rather dark film, we were either in the shadows or inside where it was not as bright. That yellow guy (who ever he was, he was so dashing) was the only one that was really easy to pick out as his own character.

Actor notes

Lois, speak up we cant hear you in the balcony. try holding mic closer to your mouth probably goes for a lot of us.

In a dramatic scene, dont laugh after killing someone

Writers

we have writers?

I think we need more good one liners like the Speed 2 one. That little snippet was pretty good. good camera work, and (mostly) made sence and we could hear him.

Anyway, those are just some thoughts. Not to say it wasnt great, just thigs that could have improved it. like seeing more of the guy in yellow, he reminded me of Russell Crowe...

I've told you a few times that I couldn't hear you, just make sure your mike isn't a mile away from your face.

Ever thought of doing a divx version? The compression ratios are quite impressive.

Indeed, the xvid codec is the best of the Divx codecs and it's free. It makes the smallest videos possible and of very high quality.

Sirens:
Yeah a bit loud actually toned way down from the original cut. Ever watch cops, they are ALMOST drownging out all other sounds, hence why they turn off rather fast when they need to be off.

Camera Notes:
Agreed, I didn't want to crop too much more out of the vid, and I simply couldn't get far away enough without making it look like i'm out of the car, the goal was to make it look like i was more or less in the car.
But all other notes are taken and written down now next to my tv for future refference.

Stewy... Get a permanent account you hebin B.netin fool. Second, yeah you always talk soft and quiet, one of the reasons you work best as "Stupid Cop" you sound like him, just quieter. I tried adjusting the audio levels in some sections to compensate, especially the interview prior to that superb acting, nameless yellow guy's debute. Some spots it simply would be too noticeable what was happeneing to the audio track. SPEAK UP!

Final Version is uploading NOW. This has been trimmed of a few obvious sloppy editing jobs, and I reinstated the earlier mentioned "completly fitting yet coincidental audio Sync" from part of the speed soundtrack i tossed at the end of the film.
At the end, where i was shocked to hear how perfect it fit when i didn't even realize it was still there.

anywho, now that the final is up, You may commence spreading and submition of the vid to whomever you desire. Hopefully HBO will find someone to offer conversions again Wink if not they are coming. .mov and even the dreaded .avi will be posted if not by a mirror site.
