So... If all else fails and we can't get someone down there to the library, would it be possible for someone to call the library and see if they can't humor us and walk around the place looking for something?

bags just went to the NY Library at the crossroads and found postcards hidden in the 5 Alice books there. He's going to scan them when he gets back.

Good thinking - maybe it'll help hook more people into the game.
Though postcards? I hope they don't have any more long numbers on them

NYPL, 40th & 5th. This also happens to be the location of one of the ILB axons. COINCIDENCE?! Someone should start a 200-page thread about the connection between Syzygy and ILB </snark>
Five copies of "Alice in Wonderland", a postcard in each one. All identical, as far as I could tell. Took one, left the other 4 for other Syzygians and/or other unsuspecting future ARGists.
There's a small piece of blue paper, glued to a yellow post-it, attached to the postcard.
Pics below. Camera phone, not the greatest quality. In case you can't make out the text on post-it:

are the post cards otherwise identical to the others we've seen? I can't quite make out any details

i can't read it but there is another or the same 24 digit number under the sema style barcode... and it looks like the same maze around the PCPS stamp.

LA Times + Postit note =
The Receda Cube is an archaeological artifact of unknown origin. It has unusual scientific properties, and has been extensively investigated by the Academy over recent years. Several religious and mystical groups around Perplex City hold the Cube as an object of reverence. It is housed in the Academy museum and has been on public display since 228AC. The last serious attempt at theft was in late April of 235AC

anyone else think there is some significance in 'object of reverence' and 'attempt at theft' being in larger fonts? Is there some word or term for each of these phrases that we are meant to be looking for?
just entered these both into Thesaurus.com, and it turned up the following:
object of reverence
attempt at theft
Nothing particularly jumps out at me yet tho'

I've only seen the scan of the first card in the primer, but I don't think that version had the printed watermark of the academy logo that the new on seems to have on the left side.
