I suspect, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, that the "messenger" is Syn's new friend. She seems to be in... a cell? Possibly reflected in the length of her nails and hair.

And of course Syn has never actually seen her before -- so she'd never know what the girl looks like.

just a note to everyone do not try to get syn to pull the metal thing out!

almost killed whatever body she was in this time and she probably will be punished for it...No need to make her out as the devil to this second host who could be a potential ally.

My spec:

The second host body (the messenger?) has just had the chip put into her brain by Eccleastia.

This procedure requires opening up the skull.

The metal thing -- that's a brace stapling the opened skull shut. It's not a chip, and even if it were, manually extracting the chip could be trouble.

Leave it alone.
