Whilst some of us are lucky enough to be on Abbey Road (probably freezing to death and getting drenched in the rain!) some people are going to be in a voicechat as well as on irc so for those who dont know about it / how to get into the voicechat room etc theres info on the wiki:

someone should take a mini audio recorder or camcorder and record what happens... if there's dialogue, it would be great to hear it to make a transcript, or see what's going on directly if something happens (not through jumpy webcam updates from a distance Razz

).

But I'd recommend to be safe, keep the tool fairly discreet... if there's interaction, the actor might be more hesitant if he sees someone carrying a monster video camera or it ends up like they're getting interviewed or something... ie keep it as natural as possible Smile

feel free to disagree with me that this is a good idea Smile

I was planning on bringing my old Clie which has a Voice Record option. It isn't very discreet though unfortunately (unless your idea of discreet is practically shoving the damn thing up Dinah's nose).

It can also make lo-quality movies and stills, but i'm sure someone else out there will have a proper handheld camcorder they can bring.
