On PCS.com, they refer to the followers of the cube as 'Cubists'.

Wouldn't we only be Cubists if we have religious belief in the Cube? And then, of course, there are all the sects...orthodox Cubists, evangelical Cubists, BC Cubists, literal translation Cubists... Razz

I've always preferred being a smartass to being a dumbass, but that's just my $0.02

I would like a cult of Cthubists. (I haven't actually read Lovecraft, BTW).

That shows the power of the great Cthulhu, whose name should not even be know but is. His influence even pervades the world of non-beleivers thus showing the surpremacy of the Great Old Ones.

Shameless bump for this, as it's come up again in #syzygy - a new suggestion has been made (well, about 40 suggestions were made, but I'm not covering each and every permutation)

CRT - Cube Retrieval Team

Pros -
CRT, short, snappy, identifiable
Could be appended with something like CRT-Earth, or CRT-NY, CRT-UK for extra identification of individuals
SebFlyte takes the credit for spotting the possible gag in it (as we're being "monitored" and a CRT is well....look it up) Wink

Any further suggestions, as far as we could tell, none of the others really took off, and the game has evolved somewhat since those earlier days.

CRT Cons -

Too Military
A bit too formal
Can be a little hard to quote in speech, which isn't good...

"CRT" sounds a bit too much like an old video monitor.

How about we try to come up with an alternate acronym for UEN ("Unidentified Earth Network"), the name 3P gave to us?

Jazz hands work for me. How about: The Handlers?
We handle business
We handle the cube (when we find it)
