Why bruce wants to meet at Empty threats

It is not the sentiment that surprises me -- it was never a secret that
Don M was aware that Sal was not the brightest bulb on the Marzano Christmas tree. However, to make such a statement outside the family -- that goes against everything I ever believed about mob behavior (most of which, I must admit, is culled directly from repeated viewings of the Godfather trilogy).

I agree there are risks here in going to Empty Threats, though I will
warn Iris and whoever she is bringing as 'companions' off if either Frank or the Don are there when I arrive. I asked Angie for info, and though I heard from her she wasn't very helpful on the subject. But some risk seems worth it, if there is a chance this Iris might sense something useful about the Don or the DEGs. I'm hoping we might even be able to get into the back office for a moment or two, if the coast is clear. Will keep you posted on developments.
