Meanwhile, I got my next task, and it's a "training exercise" rather than a mission. Interesting, but a challenge at this stage, I'm not sure how to achieve it yet. I'm sure i'll think of something.

I think I got the same thing here. This is gonna take some time and work.

I was rejected as an agent after the perception mission. But I think I read somewhere that the reject everyone at first, then contact you again. Is that true?

As was I, and my Perception Assessment was pretty average compared to some I've seen. (see attachment)

My assessment was more in a prose style with a rambling monologue of anything that i saw or heard that was out of the ordinary, mainly listening to the people around me more closely.

Got a reply from neurocam, as I had asked them if they could disclose what I would be missing. The reply was funny but typically Neurocam

Me: ----- "And may I be so bold as to ask what I will be missing?"
Them: ----- "A valuable promotional opportunity."

So if there are any other operatives in London that are reading this can you let me know how this pans out?

It must have been the "prose style" that put them off, they wanted more a report, a record of your observations.
That's the only reason I can think of, anyway.
Of course, there's nothing to stop you re-applying through a different email and operative name...

Misery of Pain = really stupid idiot!!!!! Embarassed

I registered on Neurocam, then I forgot about it til i got the assessment email.

Then I kinda forgot about it again! I only just remembered about the application and now it's too late!!!

I wondered why I hadn't heard anything from it!!!

Hi Pale figure, I think you have mixed me up with the other person who has been declined. I am the one who has been accepted and was asked my availability.

Something's going to happen in London, is it? I'm only a short train journey from Liverpool Street...

Probably too far away for an invite though. But I can't say that I wouldn't love a promotion!

I wont invite myself though. Rolling Eyes

I guess maybe they aren't starting up in the states. I tried to be as interesting as possible in the mission, looking at things from a different perspective. I even linked them to my blog for another sample of my writing. Oh well, i will play vicariously through you all.

No, they're certainly accepting people in the States. But, for now, in the US we're pretty much doing busywork until we have enough operatives in the US for major gatherings to begin. Therefore, I'd assume your application failed simply because they didn't like it.

I can confirm United States action. I've had a couple missions and training assignments. Busywork as said above but they are clearly establishing themselves.

i am in the us, and i was accepted. am currently working on my first mission. since the mission is related to recruitment, i can only guess that they are trying to build an operative base in the us through our efforts.

pretty good idea, although id have given more bold an assignment to grow the ranks quicker. i suppose those of us in the us anxious for action could recruit people ourselves. email people the website, etc.
