My router is acting funny, so it's going to be a while before I can get back on with any regularity. Perhaps, fiber would help with that.

Come on, guys. Only 11 more pages until this thread hits 200!

I may make an attempt at jumping on some time this weekend, to take a break from cleaning up in preparation for the kitty we will be adding to our our household. Likelihood of appearance +20 if I get an invite and see it on my cell phone.

Also, I'm pretty sure we'll see a big reappearance of everyone in a few weeks when the new maps are released Smile.

I might be on a bit, but I'm starting to pay the penalty from putting off this semester's projects so long...

It's probably a good thing that the maps aren't out for a few weeks or I'd fail.

Anyway, I finally got Live, and my GT is Mistletoe -- feel free to add me Smile

I'm quite out of practice so go easy on me eh? Razz

Hey, sherpa! Long-time no-see. I'll send you a friends request when I get back online.

-- Steve thinks you picked an auspicious day to rejoin us, with the new map announcement and all.

Sorry for the double-post, but I just realised I hadn't seen this over here.

This thread on HBO started an Easter Egg hunt on Ivory Tower, one that Marty (aka Lance) O'Donnell confirmed was there.

The trigger is still a bit hazy, but if you stand on the dazzle striped area at the base of the elevator you can hear Marty's song from Myth play. In addition to some other effects... note that the song, Seige of the Madrigal, is the same song used for the Easter Egg on the Halo single-player level "Assault on the Control Room."

-- Steve hopes you enjoy it when you find it... as he hasn't yet reproduced it. (Though others have, and have even caught it on video.)

Also note if you stand by that door long enough, you'll start hearing various noises coming from the other side.

Apparently it tends to freak people out ;p

Here's a theory for you to sink your teeth into. I believe, on name alone, that Elongation is the old Halo: CE map Longest. Feel free to do with that as you wish. I'll reply as soon as I can, need to return this computer today.

Edit: Never mind, I need to frequent this form more often.

Ok, I'm back. After a couple of weeks of no live for me, I spend quite some time playing over this long weekend! It was mostly afternoon (playing with people from UK), so I didn't see any beekeepers online. I hope to play with some of you again, this week.

Bungie HumpDay Challenge?

Looks like Bungie's team got waxed in this week's Hump Day Challenge and want something a little more forgiving next time:

Quote:
Next Challenge: Kittens. Kittens with broken thumbs.

Hey, that sounds right up my alley! Anyone else on board?

I for one would love to see the Bungie-folk get ripped to shreds by the best of the unfiction/beekeeper Halo2 players.

Send 'em an email asking to play them.. I'm willing to bet (a mars bar) that they'll agree just 'cause you're all famous in the ilovebees world Smile

The words they use to describe the beating they took on that Coag game are sooo funny! They got slaughtered!!
