POLICE CONFERENCE TODAY ABOUT BODY FOUND IN LAKE - July 24, 2003

State and local police have scheduled a 4:00PM press conference today to release details about the grisly discovery yesterday of a body at the Lake of Tears, a local water recreational area located just outside of Aglaura. Though unconfirmed, reliable sources have announced that the body has been identified and will be made public at this afternoon's press conference. The press conference will be held on the shore of the Lake, at the spot where the body was discovered.

Well, looks like we'll know who it is soon Shocked

POLICE IDENTIFY BODY FOUND IN LAKEOF TEARS - July 24, 2003

At a press conference this afternoon, state and local police officials identified the body found yesterday at the Lake of Tears, a local water recreational area located just outside of Aglaura. "We have positively identified the body as that of Salvatore Marzano from Glen Cove, Long Island New York, " said New Jersey State Police Captain James Moretti. "Mr. Marzano's body was found along the eastern shore of the lake yesterday afternoon and seemed to be in fairly good condition, leading us to believe it had not been in the water very long. We are confidant we will be able to discover and disclose the official cause of death very soon." Captain Moretti took a few questions from local reporters but refused to speculate on whether or not Sal Marzano's death might be related to either the recent death of Aglaura attorney J. Douglas Willingham or the mysterious disappearance of local television news personality Tracie Schmidt.
Sal Marzano was the son of local New Jersey businessman Don Marzano, whose multiple local businesses are currently under investigation by a federal Grand Jury seated in Burlington. He worked for several of the Marzano family businesses, including their construction company, the Sons of Don, in Lodi New Jersey, and the family restaurant in Hackensack called Empty Threats.

Phyllis mentioned that JD's family had cemetery property in West Virginia. Does anyone know where this one is? Niether Google or Clue search turn up more than Buffy references.

I think he may be buried in Aglaura too, but I found this graveyard in Beckley, WV. Maybe that is where his family has a plot.

Dear Pam,

Mr. and Mrs. Dobbs are being fantastically sweet to everyone. They even
offered her a plot in a local cemetery!

I've sent another email asking if phyllis took them up on the offer of the plot.

FUNERAL SERVICES ANNOUNCED FOR SALVATORE MARZANO - July 28, 2003

Family members have announced that there will be private funeral services held for Salvatore Marzano, son of New Jersey businessman, Don Marzano, on Tuesday, July 29th, 2003 at an undisclosed location. The body of Sal Marzano was pulled from a local lake on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 and state and local police officials have ruled the death a homicide. Results from an autopsy and details about the time and cause of death have not yet been made public.

Sal and the entire Marzano family have recently been involved in a Grand Jury investigation looking into alleged improprieties in the awarding of contracts to the many local Marzano family businesses. The Grand Jury is expected to release the results of their investigation this week at the Burlington County Court House, in Burlington, New Jersey.

Tracie is still missing

INVESTIGATION INTO REPORTER'S DISAPPEARANCE INTENSIFIES - July 30, 2003

Agents from the local New Jersey Bureau office of the FBI were in Aglaura during the last week investigating the disappearance of Tracie Schmidt, a popular local television news personality, according to a statement released today by Aglaura Police Chief Dawn Prufrock. Ms. Schmidt, an employee of Channel 8, Burlington County News, has been missing since Saturday, July 19th when she reportedly was in the Aglaura area doing research for an upcoming story on Channel 8. Chief Prufrock declined to comment on rumors that her disappearance might be related to the two recent mysterious deaths in the area.

So far no one has mentioned the Cameraman that (supposedly) went with her since Sunday, the day after JD's death. We know someone went with Tracie, but so far, Dale has not mentioned it, not has an "unidentifed" body been found.

Time to clue someone in... but who?

Where are you getting this from, Magesteff? I recall no such thing. In fact, I remember (from his email to Tracie) that Dale specifically said "no cameras".

If you can point me to a reference, I'd be more open to your version of events.

Thanks,

Dia
