I suspect that if you shuffle the coins around there will be sentences formed... notice the top two coins are arranged so that RO TH is formed? (just my little guess, don't have much time right now to work on it though)

edited to correct my spelling Sad

I sent an email to vsfaery yesterday when I realized the vagabond website had bee updated:

vsfaery wrote: Hail and well met, seeker of the truth!

Our website is but a way to bestow His message to those worthy of
walking the path. The changes you mention are our way of protecting
His message from the unworthy. This is not a trial in the sense of
the Harbingers, but it is nevertheless a locked door that requires a
clever mind to open. It is a message for those you seek to aid --
they have proven themselves quite industrious when it comes to
uncovering the truth hidden behind facade and confusion.

If you wish to assist your friends, unlock the doors and join them.
But be warned -- this path is not for the faint of heart. The message
locked within has the capacity to bring great harm to those unprepared
or untrustworthy. But if you are true and loyal to your friends,
perhaps your efforts will not go unappreciated.

To unlock the first door, remember that the Path to Truth is seldom
straight and narrow. It is often uneven, supported by a multitude of
intermingled strata.

Ok i'm gonna go have a play around with these letters. I'm gonna write them down the way they appear on the coins, cut them out, and try and arrange them into a paragraph. I'll update you!

*note to self* don't cough or sneeze on little pieces of paper DOH!
EDIT: maybe I was going in the wrong direction, because there are three instances of "GH" paired... and only one instance of "OU" paired. Maybe I just can't think at this time of day, but I can only think of words that have "OUGH" in them.... rather than something else proceding "GH".
could be the word "RIGHT" however the letters "RI" paired and "GH" paired would be on the bottom of the coin, and the tops dont match to make a word

TR with either LE TI RO
RI bottom line GH GH GH

Did that make any sense?

Don't let that stop you. Who says the coins have to line up any particular way?

same number of coins, two have moved. The TH-SA has been moved to the top, and the AT-AR has moved from the right side into its empty space. (And the TT-LE coin shifted a bit in place, too.) I'll have to set this aside for a few hours while i do some housework.

maybe the position of the top 3 coins has something to do with five's post about the position of the coins i.e. the top line of a coin can line up with the bottom line of a coin

http://www.vagabondssojourn.net/gamble/ has been updated again. The title has changed to " a penny for your thoughts" and a background image has been added, which is called "layout". If you view the background image it contains 26 coins, which just happens to be the number of coins in the main site picture.

I only count two spaces total on the coins. Obviously, they aren't word breaks. Possibly sentence breaks instead?

/me scratches head in puzzlement

The hint was to find COURAGE. Fromt here, we can glean a pattern.

I think I got a partial. Lets play with this.

Bottom row, 2nd coin. 4,2 top 2 letters CO
Bottom row, 5th coin. 4,5 top 2 letters U R
Second row, 1st coin, 2,1 top 2 letters AG

Just anm idea. Maybe we go through all the coins, and the XY cooridinates will give a number code that reveals the final answer?
