Amberous Pipetting indeed harbours the names of Unimbria and Geppetto and then leaves onle an S. Could it mean: Geppetto's Unimbria or Unimbria's Geppetto? Personally I slightly favour the second one, which would mean that Unimbria is somewhat alike Pinocchio made by our yet unknown counterpart.

Regarding the following

I'm very confused. Or is this just a way of saying that what has happened is still going on?

Good anagraming! Unimbria's Geppetto - I think that's it. Geppetto was the puppetmaster who created Pinocchio, like our guy/gal created Unimbria.

All Geppetto told me about the house is in the message above:
Quote:
I'm, uh... Not sure if the house is haunted, but...
Things... Happen. Things disappear and reappear -
things as small as a pencil, to as large as a room
(Only happened once, but needless to say it really got
us worried). There are some other things, but...
They're not really as noticeable.

Hmmm....

The saga of the haunted house continues...
(sorry - got caught up in the Art of the Heist and forgot to post this) Smile

Hehe, so you guys finally figured it out, eh? That's
good -- It's annoying to have to open up that anagram
site every time I want to e-mail someone.

The room... It was the upstairs bathroom, actually.
Yeah, we came home one night after going to see a
movie, and the door was just gone. It took a few hours
to actually realize it wasn't there, but afterwards we
all agreed that we hadn't seen it at all. My dad,
perplexed as the rest of us, decided to break through
the wall to get into the bathroom. It was just
bizarre. Where the bathroom should have been was the
back of the house. A good... 7 feet? (It's too late to
think, but I've been finding it harder and harder to
sleep)... just... vanished.

The next morning it was there when we woke up. My dad
saw it first -- He had fallen asleep by where the door
should have been. Nobody used the upstairs bathroom
for a few days after that, until we decided it wasn't
going anywhere again.

For anybody wondering, I believe this game will be dead for a time as the PM appears to be going on holiday for a bit:

We need to get to the airport. Our plane's gonna leave
soon. We're going to London for a bit. We all need a
break from the house. I'll talk to you all later.
