Maybe it's a bit far fetched, but it might be something to work on. The loading screen for The hiding room depicts the constellation Capricorn (nothing new there). But have you noticed that the stars are delivered in a specific order?! Stars in any constellation are asigned letters from the greec alphabet. I don't remember the system but it something with magnitudes. Anyway, using a star chart i've found the following sequense for the 12 stars connected with a line (translations -- is omega really w? -- via Babelfish):

δ -- d
γ -- g
ι -- j
υ -- y
β -- v
α -- a
α -- a
π -- p
ψ -- b
ω -- w
ζ -- z
ε -- e

Why there are two alphas i don't know -- thats the way it is shown.

Ok Im really sorry if someone alreaady made this connection, i searched and couldnt find anything. . . Has anyone made the connection of jons cell having the trident and the constellation order that this guy just posted. . . the greek symbol for b looks likea trident. . . ψ -- b (or ps, whatever the correct translation is). . . .

Im so glad i found this site btw, its so hard to try and figure out on our own. . .

Thanks in advance. . .

Staring me in the face.

I am new to this ARG, but ive been watching the events and following along for about a month. I have noticed we are stuck at the S&S symbols puzzle.
I am also aware that the only hints weve been provided is 'Go back to the beginning' and 'As an associate once said - the answer is staring at me in the face' ... this brought me back to this... What did the clue 'Staring at me in the face' give to us. and has it been used yet? ... it was almost the beginning of the puzzle.

S&S THRoom S&S
Staring at me in the face -> FIDELIO -> SSLU13LSHJ ->

(Inferno)
On arrival your access code is 1587622319

Did this number ever get used? And if that was our clue what does that mean. I feel like this number is important to this puzzle somehow.

(Also there was the Ref: PT3110-04. This was also not used if i remember correctly)

I wonder how this 'access code' might be used in the puzzle.

If i really did miss when this is used please just mention it and ill go back to digging around for other possibilities.Wink

And ill try to help out as much as possible in the rest of the game.

Hey Xardos, good thinking.

BTW Welcome to the club.

I suppose one could break down the number into 6 different numbers with one or two ciphers. However, this would give a lot of combinations, and that in combination with the permutations of the six symbols, would again be a dazzling number of possible solutions.

Has anyone much time to spend the coming days?

Or, you could just break down the number like this:

15 / 87 / 62 / 23 / 19

Or in numerical order:

15 / 19 / 23 / 62 / 87

Perhaps?
