I'll never get it wrong!

Cool

She could also go for "Not Krystyn" for kicks, but I like my suggestion better.

Sorry that I didn't join the ILBers last night. I kept getting the network error from hell message when I tried to join the party. You know... the one that says "We're having network problems right now, sorry about that." Gee, thanks for being so specific about the error. Hope you guys had fun and I'll try to join ya'll tonight.

Single bomb assault on Headlong.
We were up one guy at first, then two later on. Managed to lose it 2-1.

And personally I had one of my worst games in a while. Just couldn't kill anybody.

Yeah, don't you hate that? I had a couple of games like that on monday, where I was less than useless. Well, I take that back, I did manage to waste a couple shots of the other teams ammo, but that was about all I was good for.

Edit: Heh, stats say you killed 14 people, third highest on team. I wouldn't call that "couldn't kill anybody" Wink

True, but I think I know how he feels! It's pretty frustrating when you die in certain situations that you should kill instead! It's even worse when it happens a lot of times in the same game! I get the how-did-I-not-kill-that-guy feeling when I'm returning to the game and I'm still a bit rusty. Like now!

Oh, I wasn't saying it didn't feel like that. I know EXACTLY how he feels. And I've been in similar situations where I've killed 15 or so people, and it felt like I was shooting myself in the foot most of the time.

I was just pointing out that he actually did fairly decently, despite what it felt like.

Hmm yeah I suppose I did a bit better than I perceived at the time. But I still fell down where it counted. Team-killed a couple times, should have stopped the winning bomb run, got confused as to where I was oriented in their base, etc.

Getting the ghost past barriers

Have I posted this already? I recently learned that the ghost has brakes. (Way!) It's the 'A' button. When you want to get the ghost just about anywhere on Headlong, hold down the 'A' button and boost ('trigger') the ghost over the barrier. The brakes will lift the front of the ghost enough to get over the barrier easily. When defending, the ghost makes it really difficult to get to the flag/bomb point.

Here's the thing: I want to get the ghost into the Waterworks bases. I tried it last night, but the barriers seem too high, and the doorway at the teleport point is too narrow. Anyone know how to get a ghost inside the base on Waterworks? How about on Coagulation?
