OMG, I love giving tours. I may not know the exact location of EVERY single weapon and ammo spot, but I do know these maps really, really well.

Just ask Ariock!

"And here's where the rocket launcher is! See?"

*KABOOM!*

"I see you've re-spawned at the fan. I am currently at the sniper platform."

*PING*

"OK, so now you're under the sea wall ... ..."

why am i picturing you in a tour guide outfit complete with pillbox hat and clipboard, walking backwards as you do this:

"and we're walking... we're walking... STOP!" *BOOM* "that was the rocket launcher! and we're walking....."

Like, OK, I NEVER KNEW about the extra sniper ammo on that platform on Waterworks. I was doing it the hard way, rounding back to the base to pick up the newest sniper spawn in order to get some more bullets.

Yeesh. People!! You have to TELL me these things!

Oh, also, Ubercado, I LOVED last night how you totally trained on me on the banshee platform, and I totally found you first on the machinery on waterworks and cleaned your ears for ya. Smile You're so good with that sniper and being sneaky, that it felt like an extra-special victory.

If party is still going after 9:30pm eastern, I might show up. I was going to be online at 8:00pm, but then there's a big Brazilian soccer match on tv tonight ...

I got him once with the Wraith up there. It felt so good to see the exploding banshee, Ubercado, and his sniper come falling down after the big beautiful blue explosion. Wink

I find my interest in large custom games diminishing lately. I won't go into the reasons, no point.

So proposal time:

I've always loved team skirmish more than anything else, especially with the objective modes. But there never seem to be the exact number of people around. I'd love to re-form team unstoppable, old school or next gen. To the point:

Anyone interested in setting up a time to meet and do the 4 player thing?

Training was great last night. First let me say it was good to see a full house again. I learned quite a few new things and most importantly, we agreed on terminology for landmarks on maps!

The biggest thing I saw that we can improve is working as a team. The first few games we definitly worked as a team, but towards the end, everyone started to get back into their old groove. Remember, 1 guy is meat, 2 guys are near undefeatable. Wait for someone to partner up with you before you return to the fray.

I'm looking forward to next weeks pratice.

Team unstoppable, HO!

I'm so up for that, just let me know when.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night. Sounds like ya'll had fun.

I am very interested in learning what all was taught and what terminolgy was assigned for locations on the maps. So to that end I propose that we have "Make Up" training tonight for all of us who couldn't make it last night, or for people who want more training. We could also make this a weekly training session. Of course we will need someone from last night's training to go over what was taught, so if anyone would like to volunteer for tonight please reply and let everyone know.

I don't want to take away from Clayfoot and ROBOGriff have set up, so the make up training is only to suppliment their training sessions and should not be seen as in-depth or as an "Official" training session.

Wednesday night at 8 EST is the Main Training session.
Thursday night at 8 EST is Rehash/Make Up Training session.

Man, I'm up for that! Let's get that going! I've been playing a lot of team slayer lately with a buddy of mine. I miss team skirmish ...

I still like large custom games! But I prefer fast-paced ones, like a Assault/CTF fast on Lockout/Ascension and not so much Waterworks games. That gets kinda boring to me ... Cool
