[PC] Rome - Total War

Has anyone played this game? I just got it at the same time I purchased Matrix Online.

I have found it deeply engrossing to the point that I haven't even opened Matrix Online yet Laughing

I've been playing RTW since I have been getting home from work later and later these days and unable to catch anyone on live to play with but, I have to admit...it is addicting. Finally, I have found another game to eat my limited game time away.

Now, how to play RTW, Civilization III and Halo 2 at one time....Hmmmm

Roman Civilization: Total Halo War III, eh? I rule at that game! Especially when I encamp a few Phalanxes at the top of Zanzibar, and manage to get Spartans and the Great Library before the Flood do.

RTW is awesome indeed.
That game sucked a LOT of time away from ARGing I can tell you.

BTW, don't apply the patch if you like having elephants. One of two things it does is weaken the elephants (the other a MP chat fix)

Also, don't use the 1.2 patch unless you have to. There's an issue that got introduced in the patch where the artificial intelligence resets itself every time you load the game, completely forgeting any multi-turn strategy it was working on. In particular, if when you save the AI is besieging a city, when you load the game, the AI will break off the siege and wander off.
