synthasiadale (10:08:31 PM): I think both the guides and the degs are facades for secret organizations or groups that have been around for a long time

synthasiadale (10:09:21 PM): they are servants, the visible "forces" of these hidden groups

synthasiadale (10:11:58 PM): for some reason these two "sides" seem to have somewhat common goals, at least to some point
synthasiadale (10:12:14 PM): but very different reasons and approaches to getting what they want

synthasiadale (11:02:02 PM): they were tied in with the Joseph of Arimathea legends in some way
