Awl added that the vehicle had been occupied during the crash by an unidentified young woman. "She is unclear on what, precisely happened, as she claims she was napping at the time. She has been transported to a medical facility for treatment of minor injuries."
Not dead yet...! Don't panic! Do we know any men of the description of the stiff?

I'm more interested in the vehicle technology. seems like they have some kind of computerised control system and crash detection. And only one fatality in three years? How would such a crash occur without either a critical faliure of the system or some sort of sabotage by persons unknown? As a side note, this article backs up spec that they are more technologically advanced than us as this sort of control system is still highly experimental on our world.

So they must have cars that drive autonomously everywhere. How cool is that? I mean I know we have developed prototypes, but to have the technology as the norm is relatively advanced.
Maybe someone maliciously hacked into or disabled part of the car's computer system, causing the collision...
Edit: bah! erekose beat me to it above

I think it's funny that they specify accidental fatality. Apparently hit-and-runs don't count.

What the?!? I clickedon ZZedar's link and went to an apparent mirror of www.perplexcitysentinel.com. When did http://www.pxcsentinel.com/ show up? Is it an official in-game site, or is it merely "mirrored for our convenience"? If it is official IG, is anyone watching to make sure they stay identical? How did I miss this? It's because I'm not on IRC enough, isn't it? I'll do better... I promise!

It looks like both...an official in-game mirror for our convenience.

Police say that the man was crossing Wave Length near Transverse Road at around 10pm, when he was struck by a southbound automobile.
Does the fact that Wave Length and Transverse are the road names possibly mean anything, or am I reading too much into this?
Thinking technical as Kate Brewster was John Conner's wife in T3. Probably stupid, just brainstorming and maybe my silliness will spark someone else with a good idea.

The pxcsentinel site showed up at the same time as the perplexcitysentinel.com site. As far as I can tell they're identical, I just used pxcsentinel because it's shorter to type.

Thanks, Zzedar, I appreciate the response. Obviously I didn't explain what I meant.
I understand what the words mean, I was wondering if there was some relevance in that both roads had this sort of name, as in could there be some clue or something there. Sorry for the confusion, maybe I'll just sit back and be quiet for a while.
Yeah, after I posted I realized that I'd misunderstood and removed the explanation. I guess you must have posted in that interval.

Anyone else think Djinn Jr. may be the reason why this accident occurred? It could also be that Djinn was the reason why the security went down the night of the theft. I am speccing that Recon 8 are the programmers behind it.
