Well, after playing quite the game of catch-up, I'm finally back and waiting for tomorrow. What do you think we're going to get? Could it be more documents?

Well I don't think it would hurt to talk to them but in game or not there is no way they could be Martha's kids. We'll just have to wait till this get's underway. The reference to "evolution of warfare" could be electromagnetic weapons research or the use of genetic experiments to create "psychics" as weapons. It does tie in with the research being done from the WWII documents.

Wow, looks like you guys have done a lots of theorising since last night....I guess it's a possibility that hope & jordan are messing with us, especially given martha's email to misery.....a shame really, cos it gave things an interesting twist - although the 'evolution of warfare' thingy till has me confused. I agree with jenni42ld though, that asking martha for a secret question or whatever to ask Hope wouldn't really work.....even if she is IG, somebody posing as martha's daughter would not necessarily know personal stuff, therefore if we got a response of 'I don't know' how would we know whether this person was genuinely clueless (and therefore OOG) or just sticking with their IG character? It's getting a bit baffling; I think the best thing to do, now the message has been put out to 'hope' and 'jordan' that we suspect they're messing us about, is to wait and see if we hear from them. If they are in game they'll continue and will hopefully divulge something that gives the game direction, rather than stuff we already know. And if we don't hear any more I guess we can assume they were pratting about.

Just my luck, too, that the update's due just as I'm booked for a busy week at work! Looks like I'll be doing lots of catchup every night...

I think it might be a good idea to ask Martha a question only her and Hope would know the answer to, because if they are both in game characters, then they would tell the other the correct answer right? I mean we ask Martha "does Hope have 6 toes on one foot?" she's gives us an answer, then tells Hope the answer, then we ask Hope.. hey presto! Kinda makes sense. And that email I got about people impersonated Hope & Jordan, I hadn't even sent anything related beforehand to Martha, and I still got the email, so maybe she's watching the boards? In which case she'd know we were thinking about asking that kind of question.

Kind of, but trying to guess what IG or OOG characters would, wouldn't, might or should know about each other is starting to melt my brain. My point (which I explained VERY badly) was that even if Hope/Jordan were IG, and there was contact between them and martha (so they would know the answer to any question martha gave us), they could still choose to 'not know' when we ask them, if you see what i mean - as it would confirm them as being martha's enemies. That is of course supposing that we're expected to deduce that they're the bad guys (if they're IG, that is!)
I don't understand myself here - why am I trying to explain what I mean when I don't know what I mean?

Wait, wait, wait...
Jordan was the one who owned the document in the first place- but he's been missing for awhile now, right? Martha gave us his friendster account with the document on it, at the same time she told us he's been missing, because he had the document. But his friendster account says he last logged on on April 4th.
Has he been found? Is someone else using his friendster account? Is this the same Jordan that wrote in the forum? Any one know?

[EDIT]- I email Martha asking about Jordan, and she replied, "He has yet to been located."

I get where you're coming from, but I'm trying to look at it from the angle of: ok, we're supposed to save her from them, so it has to be established early on that they're the baddies If we ask something like 'does hope have 6 toes on one foot?' then whoever is behind the 'Hope' msn addy has two choices - give us the right answer (this would, in theory, gain our trust and make us believe that hope is the geniune article) or say they don't know (which would establish that hope isn't to be trusted.)
What I meant, I guess, is that the PMs could decide to assist us in working out who we're to help, or they could just muddy the waters for us as much as possible and let us work things out for ourselves. I may be over-thinking this a bit of course, and I've not made a lot of sense.

I think it'll be a hell of a lot simpler if they are OOG; then we can just dismiss them.

yeah i also got the same. did u see how many people that was sent to... guess she really did get her 1000 people!! (well not quite, but god there were alot of email addresses in the 'send to' box)

i agree, it sounds really violent, like some one getting sexually attacked, or hurt or whatever. i hate this kinda thing, theres just so much evil in the world. i understand its for the game and everything, but cant help the fact it makes me feel sick. guess it hits home harder when ur a girl, maybe. (drunk and slightly emotional - sorry)
