[SOLVED] Bluetooth Picture

Ian dug this picture out of the Bluetooth in the Audi. According to the chat log, there was also some decryption software with it - so I guess it means it's possible it's been stegged (or something else).

Attached is my very very quick photoshopping of the file. It definity needs some work if we are going to get the full VIN out of it.

Edit: Solved, since we know the VIN - Ehsan

Current spec as per chat discussion: Gunter left a trail. The VIN is to another Audi, the decrypt software is to use on the next Bluetooth.

And it looks like that spec is confirmed by the latest IRC chatlog. Guess I jumped the gun a bit in thinking that this particular pic had a puzzle in it. (But then I haven't been right about anything yet.) Hopefully we'll find the other info Gunter stashed soon.

It still might. Has anyone tried destegging it? I'm on Mac OS, so I can't run stegdetect.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if it's possible to compile the UNIX version of stegdetect for Mac OS X? I'm afraid my UNIX skills are somewhat lacking.

Which bit do you think is the more important - the potential code strip, or the image of a person on the right?

Ok, I'm pretty sure that VIN # in the photo is the same as this VIN #

http://iannet.lastresortretrieval.com/ian/001186.html

Edit: Which coincidentally checks out to be 2006 Audi assembled in Germany

It is because Ian is tracking it.. so actually when the image was enhanced, Ian got the VIN and looked at all the cars that were in the warehouse.. He found the one with this VIN and pulled up the shipping document to find out that it's coming to a car lot in Pittsburgh.. that's why Ian & Nisha are trying to get in there now.
