Hello, I'm very new to this type of thing, so can someone please tell me of a relatively 'easy' ARG out there? The current ones I've looked at are way too much for me.

Viola, check out Sarah Kiddo, that should give you a bit of experiance before you try and tackle other more complex arg's. Plus, it's got a good story so far!

Please note that Sarah Kiddo is one of those AIM games... I'm gonna put up a mini guide to starting up at www.xanga.com/Fear_The_Duckie

also, if you keep an eye on this bit of the forum (news and rumors) to see if anything interesting comes up, then u can follow any arg right from the start and you dont have to worry about catching up or whatever Very Happy

Yeah, there's never a shortage of AIM and small ARGs on News and Rumors. Stick around, you never know your luck.

I really like the ongoing ARGishness of the promotion for the movie The Unholy - I'm new to the ARG world, too, and this one is very interesting and complex but still easy to follow.

from the n00b

Hey, thanks for all the replies. I looked at the AIM one and didn't know what was going on there, it confused me. Sad

I was brought to the ARG world by one ARG called "errant memory". Maybe you've heard of it. I heard of it because it intersected with the Halo world for a brief time, and it was full of puzzles that very smart people solved in 0.5 seconds. But, i liked it and came here. Now I'm looking at Sable & Shuck, which looks interesting, but i constantly find myself asking, 'Where are the puzzles?!'. And it's confusing.

Anyone know any other ARG's that are (relatively) simple so I can get the hang of everything?

i think its a bit daunting trying to jump into an arg once its gotten going, purely because of the sheer amount of posts you have to read (lol) but the unholymovie arg hasnt been running for very long, feel free to join us. we even have threads giving the bare bones of the story so far etc to make it easier to jump into.
