[QUESTION] How long will Perplex City last?

Has anybody wondered how long this is going to last for? It looks likely that it's been planned for the long haul, though given its backed by mysterious sponsors they may not want piss off their buyers (i.e. us) by stringing them along (that is, if the sponsor does want to sell us something, of course).

Given that PXC has started, but three weeks have passed without any direct action or anything in the way of visible puzzles, I'm just not sure what's the case. This is my first ARG so perhaps someone can key me in to the average level of inactivity between major breakthroughs.

This has nothing to do with me going away for holiday for a month at the end of May. Smile

Well, I don't want to shatter your hopes or anything, but I see this thing running through May and well into the summer... perhaps longer. Hell, in a few weeks the Spring Semester will be over and my summer will have officially started, so it's very plausible to assume that PXC will still be going by the time I start my Fall Semester.

The length of any given ARG varies depending on the money behind it, the public (us) support and the amount of content. You can bet your britches that PXC is going to, once it's started chugging away at full steam (which, if you are wondering my position on this matter, we've simply started our engines, we haven't gone anywhere yet), last several months and start my cycle of insomnia again. Woo!

Oh well. If there's ever a need for answering a payphone in a remote part of Thailand in the middle of June, I'm your man. Heh.

This leaves only one thing for you to do Mr. Lyon... hope there is a starbucks with an internet connect in some remote part of Thailand.

Oh, and if we do have need of some payphone answering action from you, I'll personally hire the sherpa that'll give you the GPS co-ordinates.

If, of course, the GPS co-ordinates lead you to the Himalayan mountains.

I can't wait for someone to turn up to an international TV event with a cube painted on a poster that they're holding up. Remember the bee?
