I can only imagine the spam that would result from that MOP! That said, I don't think it is a bad idea -- I just got a picture of some kind of unholy endowment enlargement pills.

The HAM radio idea is an interesting one, seems to be a few parallels there.

I figure I will scour the conspiracy websites to see if there is radio station that would accept a story like this. If so then I will solicit help typing up a news story about the unholy trinity with some contact info. Maybe with an email addy and another website.

So apparently Martha has sacrificed herself to let us know the truth, and passed the torch onto Gertrude and us. Besides that, I'm at a loss. The Ham Radio idea sounds good, but seriously, base the furture of this ARG on such "ancient" technology as Ham Radio. Hmm. Maybe we just wait.

I dont know... I thought it was pretty innovative myself. I mean, HAM radio, wow, if that is the interaction required at this point that is really new! I personally would welcome this new use vs. more AIM (useful, yes, easy, yes, accessable to most, yes, but admittedly pretty well used by now.) Either way is pretty cool actually, get a message out on radio and/or TV and/or HAM radio. Perhaps a PM has a strange penchant for HAM and figures it will test new skills. Plus it fits in with the story, I mean this was all supposed to have gone down over the last 50-60 years, right? Whos to say that Gertrude doesnt have HAM?

rambling, I know, but if I wasn't on the other side of the world I'd be hooking up a HAM

HAM radio isn't out of the picture though, look at what ILB did, with the payphones! But i have a good feeling that if it is on HAM radio, it is just gonna be a ploy to BUY THINGS from one of their sponsors who are putting in product placement in the movie... or it could just be me...

The more I read Martha's latest email, the more I buy into the HAM radio idea. In her first paragraph, she mentions being "on the same wavelength" and puts in a seemingly incongruous reference to the Titanic crash - the ship put out its SOS via radio, much like Martha seems to want us to do here. There's also another reference in the email to "chatter." Add that to the "shack in" bit, and that's a whole lot of allusions to radio communication.

I don't know if it is related in any way, but I checked the FCC site for amateur radio licenses granted in PA. The Devon Amateur Radio Club was granted a license in March 2005 - just in time for the game. Devon PA happens to be very close to West Chester and Downington.

I don't know... you're right, the mail sounded really final... Think we have to wait for a message from Gertrude. Maybe she'll mail one of you - or maybe there are some new information on the website soon... We have to keep our Eyes open. The Radio Idea... hm.. what if she doesn't hear it?

We could create an official e-mail adress - i don't know how to explain it.. i mean we could have a e-mail adress which is just for gertrude and co. - and maybe we could make a website where we bring all news online, so everybody who is interessted in can get the new information quickly and arranged?!

Okay, so I've been reading the final email over and over again, looking for clues and stuff.

Honestly, I think we're all looking too deeply into it. It says that Gertrude is in some isolated place somewhere with only a TV and a Radio. It also says that we need to contact her and make her trust us.

The only connection that we know of Gertrude having with Martha as of right now is the Unholy movie.

In all honesty, I think our next step should be something to the effect of getting on TV or Radio (like Misery said) saying something about Unholymovie.com or something about the movie in general.

This seems to be the easiest point of reference that all of us, including Gertrude can access. If Martha could hack their website, who's to say Gertrude can't either? And if you look at Martha's email, she's obviously telling us to do exactly that:

Yes, right, but here in Germany it's really hard to get in the media - I guess it's not much easier in America... What's with regional radio programms? Maybe you could say there 1 or 2 sentances about it. And what's with newspapers? I know, the Email says, she have only Radio and TV - but it could be a good start to bring a small advertisement in Newspapers or Magazines - so more people become interested in unholy trinity.

I guess its easier to come to bigger TV or Radio Stations if you were in smaller ones before.

Wasn't there someone playing this that lives in New York?
There's the Today Show that airs worldwide, 5 days a week out on Rockefeller Plaza in New York. Maybe someone in that area could get in the crowd with a sign- if a sign is unique enough, the reporters will even kinda mini interview them. Watching the show right now, I can see dozens of bright signs. That might be a good way to get on TV.
