Just a little wierd, probably nothing

Before it said "There's truth in numbers" the "Gamem8ker" note said "If you're chatting with me, you're not chatting with me." So I think it's pretty clear that the Gamem8ker on AIM is not THE Gamem8ker.

The fact that it actually says "ant colony" in the META text when you view the source is interesting though... Not sure why he mentions ants by name there but there are no other references to ants in text through the rest of the site.

yeah i think people are speculating the the gamem8ker on aim is a bot. however, even bots are programmed, so it probably has some sort of info regarding various topics.

I can confirm that it's not a bot. Last time I checked, bot's can't have a sense of humor Smile

This is similar to another ARG experience I had. Back in Urban Hunt, an in-game company had actual people manning the phones. Everybody was calling them, asking for clues, etc. Turns out they didn't know anything about the story, and were just hired to provide generic and useless responses.

I think gamem8ker is kind of like that. He's not important- he's there to provide the illusion of interaction.
