yes, i jotted down the email domains and none of them exist. BTW, further discussion of this goes in another thread, as it is unrelated to the Savings & Loan.

anyone think the "New Mail" poster was to tell us that there was new mail in the voice mail boxes? Maybe IraG's?

the question was in regard to the poster which had "New Mail" on it. how does a question regarding email addy's not apply? I've been trying to snag email addy's for various characters since day 1. bet they show up in the next ep.

sloman's ring

RE: Sloman's ring...

I don't have a pic. of it, but I'm pretty sure it's flames.
'a ring of fire'

I'm new here and have posted about this ring elsewhere & it was never responded to, but I think that since they so prominently showed it when Slo was on Mary's bed that it's worth noting.

My thoughts are that since this ring was on the traditional wedding finger-ie. committment- that it confirms he's pure evil. (fire represents evil so frequently) Also another thought along those lines: the wedding finger??... committment???... could he have sold his soul to the devil (marriage with evil?) I wonder if he became so vengeful after his wife's death. I thought at one point he may be the devil, himself, but I don't think the devil would have served jail time.

With this line of thinking, it makes sense that his downfall would be in a bible, doesn't it? The bible represents the laws of the allpowerful 'Good' So it would almost be an antithesis of evil.

Does any of this make sense or am I just nuts & rambling?

you're just nuts and rambling. j/k. lotsa spec about sloman re: the devil or bondage to, etc. I think it's a cabalistic thing in terms of affiliation. sorta like Watermark's competition, the company currently known as symbol. a secret decoder ring. Laughing

ow, my EYE! Rolling Eyes you know, I'm really disappointed in a couple of things. one, I was hoping we could query the print archives for data, never happened. two, I was hoping we would be able to undertake conversations with persons from the personal or classified ads for information, never happened. three, I was hoping we'd have the opportunity to hack the WM site to access security cams, guess what? coulda been a reall cool game. Sad

Yes, but then it would have been a different game. For the contest, we only get one clue per week, so digging for info in the PT archives or conversing with "residents" could not further the contest as it stands. As for the mystery of the show, the storytellers have their own narrative pace, and might not want people getting ahead of the plotline. But i agree, adding depth to the web tie-ins would have made for a cool immersive environment.

shit, people were so far ahead of the plot line as to be ridiculous. Wink i was on most of it by week one. it wasn't that hard to figure out. i have to admit is there's one part of the online puzzle has me stumped, from day one. i know i'm on the right track, just can't locate the info i need for a final proof. sad thing is, i know it's been released. sigh... still, it coulda been way cooler than what it is. peace.
