 		the one on Halo2 seems to be very likely actually connected. Given the post about the general and tweak. The others? The others are pretty sketchy.

yeah, i'd go with that. and i doubt someone would bother to register a Live account as gamem8ker, in the hope that someone playing would notice.

Tom Canty and Edward are from the Prince and the Pauper to summarize for everyone:
Tom and Edward look the same.
Tom is poor
Edward is the prince
They change places

So the hint is that we will uncover somone/somthing that looks like what we are looking for but is the wrong one, is a fake, isn't as good as the real one?

is it similar to the "when you are talking to me you aren't?" line?

Since the reference of Tom and Edward look the same, our goal to seek truth is opposite of the actual truth.

As said, Edward is rich = the actual truth
tom is poor = the false truth

Though both look the same, one in the other is a false one.

 		What if it means something like, when we look for the truth, we're not going to find what we expect but something less. Since it sounds like we'd be looking for Edward (the prince or the "big prize"), but find Tom (the one no one cares about). Basically as of now we won't be finding anything worth finding anytime soon. I dunno, just a theory.

Actually, you may be right there. Though Tom is poor, that means he is something less. Now I see it...

In other words... The guy on AIM is not giving us the truth, and is an imposter... Just like the Pauper was an imposter in the story.

Could be that, though AIM may not be all of which is needed. Maybe it's not on AIM. Could that just be aim as regular aim?

 		I suppose it's possible... But I'm willing to bet huge amounts of money that it's "AIM" rather then "aim"...

 		True, it doesn't necessarily mean AOL Instant Messenger, but since people are talking with Gamem8ker on there that is the lead that's popular as of now. In a few days everything could change.
