We don't. I will say that I believe aimf8ker is connected to the site somehow, not just a random person who got the screen name. I also think he's meant to mislead, or for something later on. Just ignore him for now.

i dunno, the fellow on aim might not be unrelated to the website, just not the real "gamem8ker". he could be someone hired to handle that part of the job and answer with things that the real gamem8ker has given him. i.e. he is tom canty, who is LIKE the prince, but not actually him.

I think so. We in the IRC channel (independently of the forums) found everything a few minutes before he updated, but everything everyone finds shows up on both the forums and the channel, so who knows where we're being watched.

Is anyone else getting really annoyed with the amount of mistakes and errors which are cropping up with this ourcolony thing? The punctuation and grammar of some of the challenges has been dreadful and now there's the late addition of the 'of' and this whole Caty/Canty thing which wasted a lot of people's time and effort. Gamem8ker seems to be an illiterate moron and whenever anything goes wrong he just pretends he did it on purpose as part of 'the game'. I'm really starting to hope that ourcolony has nothing to do with the new xbox and it's just being run by some chancer. I can't believe Microsoft would allow something this amateurish to be part of their marketing, especially after the wonderful ilovebees

okay, so, we know for a fact that the gamem8ker communicates to us through ourcolony.
we also know he likes to speak in riddles.
a riddle, posted on ourcolony, tells us that if we aim for the truth, we will find Canty instead of Edward. This is a clear reference to The Prince and the Pauper, where Tom Canty replaced Edward Tudor. interpreted thus, it would seem to mean that the person being talked to on AOL Instant Messenger, senor gamem8ker, is an impostor. now, feel free to keep talking to him, humour whoever it is that's doing it, but do not take it as gospel truth. it is not something linked to in-game (like the ourcolony blogspot). why would they communicate through an AIM screenname? surely you wouldn't have someone sat there at a computer answering however many thousands of IM windows, if this gets as big as ilovebees.
so, please, enough with the gamem8ker.

but if this turns out to be wrong, hats and words will be eaten, with photographic evidence.
