you bum. i was totally about to post about this and you stole the idea from me, which i know cuz i was just talking to you about it on AIM. ah well, we need a thread to talk about the various blogs that *may* be true. speculations!

here are a couple things i noticed on the ourcolony blog that i think we should check out:
- the w link
- by Searching high you can find what is not low: the S is the only letter capitalized, "what is not low" is black instead of white
- it Is time for the ArchIves to open: why are only some letters capitalized? what are the archives?
- gold mirrors can hide the truth?
- "if the truth does not prevail than what shall": why bolded?

i know many people are dubious as to whether the blogs are real, but i think we should still check these things out, at least until ourcolony.net puts up some new challenges or gives us something more interesting to do

as the colonies eyes work we must test the rest, prepare.

Could this mean we are being misled somewhere or that maybe the colonies who haven't contributed as much must pass some kind of test?

The blog has never been linked to from the OurColony site.

The blog links to the Official site, but the official site does not link to the blog. Therefore it is unofficial and very likely out of game.

This site strikes me as being fake, for a simple reason.

The site includes all of the javascript files available on the ourcolony.net site.

The ourcolony site itself doesn't even do this, it just includes the scripts it needs to run that page. Main one being the orb.js file which is only needed and therefore only included on the index page of ourcolony has been copied onto this blog site.

The couter files would be needed to replay the counter, but even I could knock up a site in a few minutes which could reproduce that counter exactly.

geez people, chill out! you've told us many times that you don't think the blogs are real. they probably aren't. so what? let us have our fun! even if it's all fake, it's still interesting!

please just stop saying over and over that the blogs are probably fake, i think people get the point, but we can still discuss them. who knows, our colony is so funked up, maybe the real game is on the blogs. i mean, that's not gonna happen, but if it turns out that they ARE related, which although now seems insane, may POSSIBLY be true, i'm gonna have the last laugh Wink

either way, as i've said before, on the OFF CHANCE that these blogs are related and this turns up at some point in the next 29 days, 6 hours, and 28 minutes, i think we should keep up some discussion about what they could be referring to.

we know that the general consensus is that the blogs are fake, but you don't have to try to disband every thread relating to them...
